Followinga Norton Owners Club Visit last weekend - I'm happy to confirm that the Company is in good hands and the Factory is an amazing improvement on the previous owner. With all the damage Stuart Garner caused to the Norton marque, It's 'regrettable' that he's still behind the scenes causing problems - if now via Ian Loram? As Chairman of the NOC, a strong supporter of the new Factory owners and (I hope) a friend of Ian's, I hope the legal ownership issue which lies behind Ian's complaint is settled as quickly as possible for the benefit of all. Here's a pic of Ian and Dr Robert Hentshel in happier times.Peter White

Norton under the new management and ownership of TVS really do need to distance themselves from the poor reputation, antics and nonexistent communication of the previous (and disgraced owner) Stuart Garner. However, what I read in an earlier post listed by Mr Ian Loram would suggest that nothing has been learnt whatsoever and that you are treating your most loyal customer base and a very good friend of Norton with outright contempt. This is not what any of us would expect under the new leadership now in place, so please do the decent, respectable and honourable thing and pick up a phone and contact Mr Loram without delay.

Friendly logistics man detailing that Norton has no store at this address. You’re not even allowed to look at the bikes on the parking lot. Book upfront your audition with the pope oh Norton test ride, then buy online and maintain distance as a customer to the lords of Norton manufacture.I say get lost! You’re not George Brough.Norton has to learn a lot how to engage with customers. No, Triumph isn’t a good example. But check for Moto Guzzi, BMW, Harley, but I get it, Norton is looking to establish itself as British royalty, beyond and above others. Failure is sure in a engage 200% or die Market.

As a long time Norton fan and someone that knows Ian Loram I am quite frankly disgusted. I thought the Stuart Garner days were well behind us but it seems as though management have taken up where he left off. Shame on you Norton, disgusting behaviour. You had a chance to create a company that was respected yet you treat loyal fans like this. You could have sorted this in 5 minutes but now you have endless awful reviews and your reputation is tarnished yet again. I'm disappointed beyond words. Whoever the person is dealing with (or clearly not) this then he can't be considered an asset to Norton. Reputation is everything.

My visit and tour of the factory was a thoroughly enjoyable day. I was very impressed with what Norton has achieved over the passed 2 years. The helpfulness of all the knowledgeable staff allayed my original scepticism. Although still in their infancy, I am certain that going forward that Norton will find the right solution in using a British base to design and engineer new models irrespective of where the final assembly is located and I wish them the very best for a successful future

Ian has been, for many years, a staunch ambassador for the Norton marque. His assistance with assembling your Heritage Collection should at least be acknowledged - as I believe was the agreement. It is important that the new Norton Company accept and celebrate the people who continue to support them.I would like to see the plaque prominently displayed.Come on Norton sort it out!

A truly excellent factory tour, we felt like VIPs given lots of very relevant interesting facts. Before the visit I thought the Comando was over priced, after the visit seeing how much care, expertise and dedication is spent on each and every bike I bow belive them to be very good value. Best of luck to Norton for it future. We look forward to the new EU compliant models.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Norton’s new Factory at Solihull on 15th January 2023 as Norton Owners Club members. We were well received and courteously shown the production line for the 961 commando. The helpful staff answered a variety of questions up to the sensible parameters of technical and commercial confidentiality. As Norton owners, we were pleased to see improved quality control systems. Also, the prospect of new models for a wider market for the brand. All in all, a positive outlook for the company and the likelihood of me continuing to ride Nortons.

I really enjoyed the visit, everything ran very smoothly, the staff on-hand were very helpful, polite and informative. the factory areas we visited were spacious, clean, safe and obviously on-point to start churning out loads and loads of lovely sparkling Nortons. The lunch was very nice and a welcome change from curly sandwiches and cold chicken drumsticks. The bikes on show in the foyer and the part of the heritage collection we were shown were fantastic examples of the great Norton mark and must have broken Ian Lorum's heart when he sold them to form the Norton Motorcycles Ltd's collection. All in all a brilliant day and one I hope that will be repeated many times. If i had to make one criticism it would be that there was no PA system used and it was extremely difficult to hear what we were being told whilst on the tour, but this didn't affect my enjoyment too much, and I had a brilliant and enjoyable trip. Well done Norton Motorcycles !

It seems like Stuart Garner is back in charge at Norton. What else are we to think? Why would you keep a motorcycle lent to you for your benefit, if the owner (Ian Loram) has requested its return, especially as he provided you with 55 bikes from his collection to start your own ready-made Heritage Trail. This has been a terrible way to treat anyone.fix a date with Ian for the return of his machine, unless you have dismantled it for spares! So much talk - but it all looks like hot air again. How many times have we Norton Owners been used? Well not this time. I shall be looking at what Triumph can supply.!
