The branch manager’s attitude towards me today when I returned an item ( bought only 2 days ago, unused) was absolutely disgusting.He didn’t even look at me, very angry and disrespectful.I picked him up on his attitude only to be met with denial and him storming off..very disappointing! Luckily I didn’t need advice!!

I ordered what I wanted in store, rather than on line, because I could not find one of the items I needed in the catalogue. The member of staff who served me was very helpful, checking with a couple of other members of staff to see if they did sell what I could not find, but it turns out they don't. However, they were able to tell me where I could probably find it in Abergavenny and they were right.There is not a large amount of parking available on the small industrial estate where it is located, so you might have to park on Mill Street, or even in the Aldi car park (but you might need to buy something in the Aldi if you use their car park - check the signs first)

3.30 on a Sunday afternoon needed help to buy some work boot socks, I was told the only ones were in the basket next to me and that’s all they had! When asked if you do packs of 3 etc, the answer was no only those. Screwfix just missed out on another sale. Obviously the girl serving was ready to go home and tidying up! Just had a look on their website, fully stocked and many options. Glad it’s not my company.

Has everything you may need to get whatever job you want to tackle in or out of the home/work place.Prices are good and the quality of the product that you get are high.If you are going to do a bit of DIY or something a bit more serious then give them a try!

Excellent for building items and tools. I buy online click and collect. They have a great range of good quality items at good prices. I am always amazed that they have the same owners as B&Q, which are polar opposite i.e rubbish in all respects.

No problem when in store but today (during the pandemic) I was on the phone to Screwfix central to be told they are working so hard, sorry about this and that and so on. This went on for 2 minutes 30+ seconds then to be told that they could not deal with a phone call - cut off.Click and collect is working - but is the company reviewing it's management and staffing to save money when locally all seems normal? And to the detriment of customer service?

Having used the store very frequently since it opened I have become so disappointed with aspects service in recent months causing me to decide to no longer use them. Screwfix complaints process is a sham.

1. Always double check they've given you everything. Very frustrating the amount of times I've had to drive back because they forgot something from the order.2. Check all orders thoroughly as you'll often be given things which have clearly been used and returned and then you'll be accused of having used it. I bought a pressure testing pump recently which had tool marks on it. Same again with a tile cutter.Just generally poor, especially when toolstation is just around the corner and far more reliable.

This is by far the worst store I have been too in all the screw fixes. I visited the counter to return products NOT used but on returning a women named Tracey stopped what she was doing and butted in to my conversation. She attempted to make out this was damaged however it was a SVP extension which the outter edged does not go into a couple, it’s a male that connects inside where the rubbers was located which was unmarked and new. Problem with screwfix is that I have spent numerous sums of money and provide damaged goods like radiators, connectors and the like but all too quick to make accusations. This person really needs training on customer service and obtain some industry knowledge before engaging the voice box. I won’t spend any money In that store ever again!

Friendly and helpful, knowledgeable staff who pretty much always seem happy!Brilliant range of products for the professional DIYer, and trades person alike, at trade prices. And if it's not in stock, they will do their best to get it for you next day, plus click and collect is a breeze, not to mention the competent app!
