The Wyndham Arms
Went into this lovely little country pub in Kentishbear in Devon,we only had a drink and a packet of nuts each which was very enjoyable,we will pop back again to sample the food.This olde worldly place which dates back to the 15th century is run by two nice gentleman by the names of Alan Kershaw and Graham Gulliford who are both very friendly and welcoming.I would recommend this place for everyone in the area to visit.

We went to the Wyndham Arms to have a meal during out holiday to Devon and we found the service to be very friendly and the food fantastic! Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend to any family.

Fantastic friendly staff, family run, we have been made so welcome by both locals and staff.The food is cooked to order and is locally supplied meats and we have tried most things on the menu. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the fish ( or shark as we call it because of its size) is lovely.we have not had a single meal that we have been disappointed in to the extent the family who runs it goes out of their way to please.we asked for a surf and turf which isn't on the menu and they have done it ever since for us. warning the mixed grill isn't for the faint hearted and all portion sizes are more than adequate,the cheese board is amazing.The locals have made us feel so welcome that we almost feel local ourselves.This is a community pub set in a beautiful village with a heart and lots of love and dedication A+.

The land lady and staff give you such a warm welcome and are willing to help with your needs ,the pub is located in an amazing spot and always an amazing atmosphere from start of the night to the end
