Forrester Park Resort

While visiting Scotland I visited Forrester Park to use the driving range. Great service and assistance from the owner.We really need to support our local golf courses in Scotland before we lose gems like this one.

Fantastic place ! My husband is a member of the amazing golf course ! We also had our wedding ceremony there ! High tea is such a lovely afternoon with great food and reasonably priced ! Christmas party nights are such fun, and rooms are beautifully decorated!

Was here for a day of golf. The course is brilliant and one of the best greens I've played in the area.

Rooms are small and dated. They are also dark with dark decor. Only one chair and no table . This is an issue when bar closes very early and no access to any lounge areas so only place to socialise is bedroom .We were with a group of friends so this was not good. Beds are comfortable. View is into a gravel yard . Cars and trucks use this including immediately under window at 6am. None of us managed to work shower attachment and no instructions. Overhead shower took a long time to heat up . Meals were all very good including breakfasts and high teas. Staff serving were friendly and efficient . Breakfast on last day made up our mind we won't return. The owner came to our table at 10.50 . We thought he would ask the how our stay had been if we had enjoyed the golf course. However, it was to remind us checkout was 11 and housekeeping were waiting to get into our rooms ! We quickly wheeled our cases along and departed hurriedly. Overall this is a small hotel run in a way that any guests have to fit in to due to limited staff rather than operating to ensure guests feel welcome.

This park is a haven for birdwatchers! The diverse range of bird species is impressive, and the well-maintained observation platforms make for excellent viewing spots. Bring your binoculars and a camera for some fantastic shots.

Absolutely stunning place for a wedding.... We thought we were stepping back in time.... Beautiful

Went Today Sunday for High Tea was Lovely Interior and Meal of Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding was lovely but for £24 feel we should have had more Veg only 2 carrots & one bit of Broccoli xxAnd had to ask for more Gravy but the Scones & Cakes were all home made & Delicious and the Waitress was friendly and couldn't do enough for us thank youJennifer Duncan

We have been for an amazing high tea for my father in laws 75th birthday and needless to say the food and service was second to none.The staff new everything about the menu when we asked about the options available for high tea and the drink selection behind the bar was great.Thank you for making his 75th birthday an amazing experience
