Autostop Service Centre

Had a bad experience with this service centre. Person at reception was avoiding to provide satisfactory details of repair work, was in a big rush and was desperate for payment only. Overall poor customer service.In response to your reply, I would like to mention few facts:1. The moment I entered in the reception area, you left me asking to wait there. There was no one in the reception area to attend. You came after about 10 mins and there was no rush of customers at that time.2. I never asked you to put the car on the ramp and was only seeking a brief overview of the repair work. The moment you came into reception area, you were in a big rush to collect payment of the repair work rather than listening to my request of providing me the required details of the work. Even though I requested that I may wait to have some satisfactory reply from you on my query but without listening to my genuine request, I was impolitely and in a rough manner asked to make the payment of the repair work and close the conversation which was completely disappointing and lack of satisfactory customer dealings.3. Regarding discount, it was simply asked to charge fair and genuine rates being an old and regular customer of your garage.I hope you will try to improve your customer dealings.

Great experience this week with my Mercedes in at Autostop. Went in with suspected compressor failure and no suspension. Turn out it was a split pipe and faulty senser. Repair much cheaper than anticipated. Thank you. Also they were able to do the work very quickly. Just booked my other car in for a service as they had done such a good job. I recommend here for your car repairs.

We called Autostop for help with rear lights this morning. Brilliant response - agreed to look at the car at 2pm despite being really busy. Quicker, better and cheaper than the dealership. Free light bulbs fitted within 10 minutes of arriving. We’ve used Autostop for over 10 years and they’ve never let us down.

Consistently excellent. I have now take my last four cars to them and always been pleased with their value and quality. They are particularly good at problem solving - in my case, failed windscreen wiper motors and a haywire external temperature sensor - and have saved me several hundred pounds over main dealer costs. Not great. Service held but things missed. Advised that brake fluid was near minimum - well top it up then! Also mechanic made another ‘mistake’ the final report had recommendations hand written which were ineligible. I found the attitude and mannerism of the gentleman with a Greek? Accent quite rude and patronising. That’s why I cancelled a follow up visit and went to a more professional garage .
