School of Wok

We went to School of Wok for a corporate event and what an event it was!We completed the Chefs Challenge cooking the Thai menu and it was fantastic. Lance our chef was amazing. He was patient, funny and a great cook.Our food tastes amazing and the experience was nothing but enjoyable.

Full day Japanese cooking classWe had a lovely day; Cher was a knowledgeable, fun and friendly teacher who gave some really helpful hints and tips. They were very accomodating to anyone with dietary preferences/intolerances and overall a really relaxed atmosphere enjoyable experience.

So this was awesome! Lance was great at teaching us the nuances of the dishes and the evening was super pleasant, I would absolutely recommend it to anybody who enjoys cooking. Looking forward to doing the full day course next month!

I attended 'The School of Wok,' Wednesday 4th October for a 3-hour Vegetarian cookery class, it was an amazing experience, the standard of the whole operation was very satisfactory, we worked in pairs, which was good. The food we prepared were delicious, the fried rice tasted better than the 'take-away version' in fact all the dishes tasted like eating in a top notch Chinese restaurant. At the end of cooking we dined together, table laid professionally as in a restaurant, a choice of chop sticks or cutlery, wine, water soft drinks. I had the best night ever in months, especially since I do not go out as much as I used to. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and it was amazing, we did the 3 hours Japanese class and we loved it. I would highly recommend it, such a different experience where we learned to cook Gyozas and chicken katsu curry. We will definitely go back. Thanks to our chef Darwin!

Booked a corporate do but was for my wife’s Birthday.Hannah, Ryan, Lesley and the rest of the team made it a very special day for my wife and all who attended.The team at School of wok attended to all our needs and made it a fun and informative day.Would highly recommend it.

Very impressed with last nights “introduction to Vietnamese cooking” class I attended last yesterday. Informative, engaging and entertaining. Darwin, our tutor, is a very effective communicator, professional, yet relaxed style of interaction, and I look forward to using what I learned. Highly recommended!

Booked a private class for a hen do - was so fantastic. The teacher, Darwin was funny, engaging and interesting and the food was amazing. It was so nice that they laid the table for a group meal after too- would definitly do one of their classes again and am recommending to all my friends.

The most amazing service what a fabulous night out. Celebrated my daughters birthday and the staff made sure it was fun night. The meal was delicious. We also got surprised with a birthday cake which made the experience even more special. A memorable night.

Went last night for the 3 hour Chinese Banquet and it was great. Lance was an awesome instructor, the steps were easy to follow and I came away feeling like I learned a lot about Chinese cuisine / techniques, it's a really nice environment and Ian plys you with drinks as well :) delicious food and we took some home in tupperwares so todays lunch is sorted!
