Mens department now down stairs, got everything I needed.I hate the self checkout, so waited until there was someone to come to the till, cheap nasty paper bag that ripped within seconds .

Shopping with my wife ,although there is a large mens clothing selection with shoes ,shirts,jumpers,suits etc and if you go now there's a 50per cent reduction on clothing and furniture's plus ladies clothing huge carparking facilities we've actually been there twice this week,my wife bought a cardigan which was to small for her,cost £21 with the sale now on its priced at £12.50p and we got the full asking price returned for original £21 price and got larger size for £12.50p excellent service

Yes I like matalan, good prices too, so not harsh on my purse!!!. I go once a month to browse for a while, and if I see something nice for the summer months I certainly will buy them. Happy Days.

Visited loanhead store with my partner she bought a garment started to leave store we were approached by a staff member and asked for my partner receat felt like a criminal will not return matlans store EVER again

There was a wide range of sunglasses on offer which was what I was looking to purchase. I acquired a delightful pair for a relatively reasonable £28 via an easy to use self service checkout. A good shopping experience was had.UPDATE: Downgrading this review to 2 stars because the sunglasses broke after a few days touring the north coast of Scotland.

Not so good I was looking for a suit and they had very little choice and what they had was and looked cheap.
