Slater and Gordon Lawyers

I was utterly disgusted with the service I received from Slater and Gordon. In brief, they lost my late mothers deeds to her house and also the leasehold documents. This resulted in my losing my first buyer when I put my mothers house on the market. I nearly lost the second one until I was forced to purchase the freehold. I suffered 18 months of stress caused by S &G and lost around £6000. They offered me £500 in compensation! I had to give them one star here in order to post this as there was no zero star option!!!!!!

This review is on behalf of my late father, mother and family members who would like to thank Jordan Bell and his team for their professionalism, understanding and compassion whilst dealing with our claim.We were constantly kept up to date with proceedings and Jordan did everything he could to get us a satisfactory settlement.We would certainly recommend Jordan for anyone needing to start a claim for Mesothelioma.

Having had Slater & Gordon deal with my late Mother estate, everything was going great.All of a sudden, I was told a payment was made and when to expect it. That date came and went, now no response to give me an update and just getting fobbed off.They seem to be happy to tell me payment was made and now I’m the one with no food in the cupboards!The work they do seemed to be okay but then the Customer Service is absolutely shocking.I even submitted a complaint 3 days ago online and still have heard absolutely nothing from them.

This is the second time we have used Slater Gordon this time we had Ryan O'hara dealing with a case for us and I cannot praise him enough. He was thorough and efficient keeping us fully informed of what was happening and explained everything through out the case. Nothing was ever to much trouble for him. He returned all my emails and phone calls promptly making me feel at ease and confident in the process. He was compassionate and supported me through out at some very difficult times. I wouldn't hesitate to use Slater Gordon again if the need arised.

My divorce and complicated financial matters were dealt by Ms Helen Morgan (solicitor/consultant) who is very knowledgeable in her field and went above and beyond to assist me. She was honest, efficient and incredibly dedicated solicitor/consultant to my matter. She worked diligently to ensure that everything was completed in a timely manner without compromising on the quality. Her level of efficiency and professionalism allowed me to fully trust in her abilities, relieving any unnecessary stress or anxiety on my part.I am grateful to have had her as my solicitor who was dealing with my matter which came to an end with a positive outcome. I could not recommend her enough.

All round this process although lengthy which was expected was not one bit down to the work at slater and Gordon. I was always kept in the loop and well informed on the steps being taken on my behalf.A special mention to Andrew Tarling, always contactable and very informative. Couldn’t have asked for a better case manager!

I recently used Slater and Gordon, Manchester for my divorce. I was able to get advice prior to instructing through my union membership benefits. Following this advice I instructed them to deal with my divorce. Alexzandra Hughes handled my case professionally throughout and in a timely manner. Alex has been very helpful and understanding.
