BPO Collections

BPO Collections are one of a group of companies that persistently contacted my elderly father, who is 78 with early-stage dementia, about a totally non-existent Sky TV debt.There appears to be a number of companies out there like BPO, but BPO collections are the most blatant (and persistent) of these fraudsters. The amount of worry and upset they cause vulnerable people is awful. My dad has never been overdue on a bill in his life (he knew every penny that came in and out of the house - trust me on that!) so for him all of this was very distressing.I suspect these companies pass/sell any data they gather amongst themselves and, having dealt with this sort of company before, and spent hours on the phone dealing with imaginary debts, I am now loath to contact them. So I will just block all communications with them.Each and every time, when I finally speak to one of the shameful people who choose to work at these scam companies to try and get some kind of clarity on the supposed debt, the answer I get is that they've made a mistake" and that my father's details were "given to (us) in error". This

Virgin media tried to scam me of 45 quid when I cancelled a contract within the 14 days grace period, during which they never provided any internet signal nor tv packages at all. Having no basis to charge me, Virgin (another terrible criminal outfit) told BPO that I owed money from a year before I even lived in the property (????) to justify the harassment, despite that was clarified and certified with BPO, they kept harassing me for months after with texts calls and emails. They are a parasitic company harassing people in the hope they pay regardless of the charge being real or not.

Had a phone contract with Tesco,contract came to an end but after umpteen calls to Tesc and account refunded of charges Tesco thern put me in the hands of this tin pot organization i've paid it but i promise the tin pots i will sort it for them be assured it will happen.

I paid my account in full to BPO collections. The advisor promised me the account would be cleared with HMRC within a week, which I explained was important as I was applying for a mortgage in a months time and needed the account cleared of tax owing to apply. His advice was totally wrong, a month later and the account has still not cleared. The person I just spoke to today said HMRC have a huge backlog, if I had paid directly to HMRC this payment would have cleared a month ago, now I need to apply for a mortgage with tax owing on my account as HMRC cannot locate BPO's payment. The woman was totally unhelpful today who I spoke to, refused to get in touch with HMRC to help them locate my payment, refused to send me proof that my payment had been sent to HMRC, just said there is a big backlog and I need to wait longer, HMRC cannot even find the payment in their backlog. Rude, unhelpful, mis information regarding the date this payment would be cleared. Also, if you call and press 4 to make a complaint you will never get through, press 1 to make payment in full you're through in 20 seconds.

This is a disgrace, took a Scottish power payment 3 times and I’ve called 11 times over 4 weeks and haven’t got the money back. Asked to speak to managers, told on 5 separate occasions I was going to get a call back I’m still waiting. I’m a working single parent with two Autistic kids and supporting one at university, add the cost of living in too. I’m now going to the financial ombudsman because this company have form. They are disgusting!! They need closing down

got bill from virgin media when i asked to cancel contact because moved to other service provider. then i got for that bill contacting bpo asking to pay to cancel contract in 21 of August so i have paid this. up to today i am getting bill from virgin media and they saying they havent received any payment and telling me ring this collections company and they just not answering. both companies are horrible to contact and scammers

My accountant received a letter from these lot saying I owed £7k to the HMRC, puzzled we asked questions as no tax bill was outstanding . Instead more letters were sent and the amount was increased to £8k + still no information or details were sent then amazingly they wrote again to say my account had been cleared and all funds received! Bizarre

After sending proof of my sky account being paid (no personal details shared), they thanked myself for sending proof but then on the next paragraph stating to my account (?) will be on hold for 7 days. If I don't contact them after the 7 days, they'll be contact me via 4 different ways.I don't know if the emails are done by auto reply AI or an actual human being showing a very low IQ but you can't pull and push at the same time.At the moment, I'm typing up a terms and conditions contract stating any further contact after. They'll be agreeing to my payment invoice including for my time, service, admin fees for reading and replying and face to face human contact (that's going to be costly) if they choice to visit my home address.^^Reading this part you may find I'm crazy. However, myself and my friends do this and earned a fortune :)

DEBT COLLECTION BULLIES. SCAMMERS. Get a proper job that you can be proud of rather than ashamed . Pursued for a HMRC debt that is in dispute and in the care of my accountant. Despite writing to these clowns with documentary evidence to support this they continued to write, phone and text me constantly. If you're employed by these clowns you should be ashamed of the misery you cause. This is why you need to do well at school in order to avoid having to work for a third rate outfit like this.

This company is nothing but a scammers. They sent a letter to my dad claiming my dad got Lantern account. My dad hasn’t got a lantern account. Absolute scammers who sending letters to people and thinks they got lantern account. People haven’t got lantern accounts. Avoid this company because this company is absolutely ridiculous and scam
