Great and scenic course, would definitely recommend for beginners and those looking for a slower pace of play as you’re less likely to have a group behind you. Ample parking, clubhouse is helpful and adequate.. be prepared to loose a few golf balls as the fairway + greens needs some work… cannot fault for the price!

Still somewhat new to golf, have only been playing about 4 months. This was a nice step up from the usual Par 3 courses I've been playing, at around double the distance for the 9 holes we played. A nice mix of Par 3's from 143-180yds, Par 4's from 285-370yds, and Par 5's from 441-454yds.There are a good number of tee positions to try, and it was great that the tees were all grass, not those mats which can often be difficult to get your tee in, especially for a back pain sufferer such as myself. Fairways were in good condition, mildly undulating, with occasional drainage ditches to negotiate, something I wasn't always good at today! Greens were reasonably well kept, with some minor slopes and undulations adding to the putting challenge. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours spent golfing around the picturesque course in glorious February sunshine, followed by hot drinks in the pleasant indoor and outdoor areas, where we were served and made welcome by Sam.The only negative I have is regarding some littering on the course, but that's more about the people playing than those managing and maintaining the course. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME WITH YOU PEOPLE - IT'S REALLY NOT THAT DIFFICULT!All in all a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience today, and fantastic value for money. Don't believe all the negative reviews on here...I honestly have no idea what these people were expecting, but I certainly was not disappointed. In the words of The Terminator...I'll be back!". I ignored the bad reviews, drove down there and paid £15 for 9 holes. Apart from the greens being spongy and a tired , it was actually a decent track for the price. Not particularly challenging at just over 2700 yards , but for £15 if you need to work on irons and wedges like I did its definitely worth a go. Very quiet , and the service was ok. For £15 you cant grumble , I didnt find it as bad as the reviews make out, good luck

First time visit Today . Courses like this should be shouted about as there is a public stigma that golf is only for the wealthy . Great course in a great location . Fantastic value for money with a friendly host (Sam) . No peer pressure that you get with established courses . If you are thinking about taking up golf then this is a must visit

Really enjoyed the course for a 9 hole, gave me a good challenge. very friendly staff. Paid £17.50 for 18, unfortunately had to finish early. Would have given a 5 star if they cleaned up the grass after they cut it. Would definitely come again.

Even for the cheap cost (£15) it's still not worth it. Only 1 green was in play and it was I'm an amazingly poor condition, couldn't really call it a green. All other greens were temporary on the fairway. There was pretty much no fairway across the whole course. Amazing amount of balls lost and found due to the length of the the grass/weed on the course.

Shocking golf course, I've seen children's play parks in better condition. Greens in terrible condition, someone driving the buggies on them, who I would assume works there as he had no clubs or possibly just a random bloke out for a joy ride who knows... The amount of moss on the greens was beyond belive seen less on the Yorkshire moors. While I understand you get what you pay for but genuinely not worth your hard earned money, if its not hard earned I'd still go else where... All in all would not recommend

Visited on a grey Saturday but enjoyed the course. It was a bit wild and overgrown at places but still enjoyed it. Got a good price online for 9 holes. Found the 9 holes decent for the price and reflected well. Some long holes and I would have liked some interacting shorter ones but still enjoyed my first time at this course. Will be visiting again in the future.Staff are friendly and enjoyed a pint outside once the sun came out.

3 of us played here on Bank Holiday Monday - haven't played in quite a while, great course. Fancied a burger after the round, Kitchen closed but they offered to cook us some anyway. Really nice, helpful and friendly staff and the bar offered a choice of real ale - definitely will be back.

Stopped by on the off chance to use the range. Friendly staff, however, the mats and balls on the range were in equally poor condition. The balls looked at least 10 years old and most were cut with the oddest of ball flights. The mats were mostly bare. You have to purchase your own rubber tee as the locals steal them! Desperately needs investment. As for the putting green, don't ask! Can't comment on the course as didn't play.
