I have moved from Cumbria to Cheshire but will remain in the care of Mint Dental Practice at Ambleside, they are marvellous! Both Louis (hope I spelt that correctly) and Marie, his assistant and their receptionist could not have been more accommodating, kind and efficient. Well worth the 5 hour round trip! Thank you all :)

Chipped a molar on a piece of lead shot tuesday evening, managed luckily to get a cancellation wednesday morning, 45 minutes later emerged with a fully repaired tooth. Brilliant job, a lot of work involved but brilliantly executed, thanks !

Recent visit to Ambleside. Excellent service, and very friendly, Very clean and freshly decorated.

Lovely clean practice. Kind and friendly staff which is important for me as a nervous patient. Visited during Covid-19 and felt safe and enough precautions were in place.

Quick and pain free extraction. Giles explained the problem, possible solutions and implications clearly and patiently and gave me sound, objective advice. The admin aspect was also excellent.

I have just finished a course of treatment of fillings and a crown. Dentist Giles, the dental nurse and team were all great. I couldn't have received better treatment. Giles discussed fully with me the treatment required, including the option of having a crown or a filling and the possible implications of my choice. During the filling and crown I was kept informed on the progression of the treatment. After treatment had finished I was always asked if I had any questions. All my treatment was totally pain free, once the usual slight discomfort of the numbing injections had been done. Giles and the nurse were friendly, careing and polite. All the more admirable considering that they were working in the difficult circumstances of wearing the Covid PPE masks and face shields which I can only imagine must be very difficult. On top of that they had to thoroughly clean the treatment rooms between patients.Thank you very much Giles and the team, you're all doing a fantastic job.

I had an emergency filling & paid for stage 2 in their pricing which included a check up. So I was booked in with same Dr Giles again and told it would be part of the same bill, already paid for.Turned up today, wanted 10 mins in stuffy smelly waiting room. Then told Dr Giles isn't in today (doesn't work Tuesdays so don't know why you were booked in to see him") and then to top it off

Thank you so much to Dr Giles and his fantastic nurse.They gave me an emergency appointment as I am an unregistered patient but I have put my name down on the list to join the practice.I'm a naturally anxious person and dread the dentist/opticians/Doctors etc but they put me at ease and did an incredible job in getting me put of pain.They did so with no judgement, which I was worried about because of mistakes I have made in the care of my teeth.Thank you so much. I hope to join your books as soon as possible.Highly recommended!

Savages. If you actually do manage to get an appointment here (they'll cancel 75% of your appointments, without any notice) you had better pray that you dont need any dental work. I've had fillings done without ANY anaesthetic, and had one tooth pulled out without the option of a replacement crown. My phobia of the dentist has increased dramatically since visiting this place. I'm now left with a temporary filling, there's no way I'm going back here.It literally is a little shop of horrors.If this place is your only option, I'd recommend half a bottle of whisky and a pair of pliers.That being said, the receptionists and assistants are very pleasant. I'm sure it's not their fault that visiting this place is a waking nightmare.
