We had our wonderful wedding here last Saturday….. nothing was too much trouble. Helen was exceptional from start to finish. The food was delicious, the staff worked so hard to give us the best day of our lives.Everything was seamless, nothing was too much trouble. It was just exquisite from the moment we arrived.I can not recommend St Augustine’s enough. We are truly thankful for everything that you have done for us. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts and making our wedding a truly unforgettably magical experience❤️

We had the perfect wedding. Run so smoothly.. Ask for keiran (wedding Co ordinator) nothing was too much and was so hassle free... Memories we will treasure forever.. Only thing is had some feedback from guests and the main 3 course wasn't all that.... Don't order the duck.Rooms and settings are perfect and I think they offer discounted wedding packages for evening weddings. If you haven't been to a wedding here,. Please go visit for the wow factor.. So many rooms to choose from. We chose 3 separate rooms!! Bride and groom. Had their own lockable rooms also for about 24 hours!

We are so glad we chose St Augustine's for our wedding. We had the most beautiful and unforgettable day. Our guests loved the venue and we had a day unique to us. The food was delicious and we felt very well looked after by staff. Thank you to all who were involved in making our wedding possible!

My partner and I had a gorgeous Sunday lunch here. He had beef and I had chicken, along side Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli, puréed swede and cauliflower cheese. There was also a vegetarian option. Everything come out hot. Choice of three desserts, adding a dessert is only an extra £3! Quiet music in the background which made for a nice change to most places that have music blaring out. Staff friendly and welcoming. Tables were clean and all well presented. We will definitely be back again!

Steelasophical Steel Band Dj had the pleasure of providing musical entertainment for a corporate Christmas party event. A lovely and unique venue. Many thanks to Helen and her helpful staff for their assistance.

Where do I even start!Helen was absolutely amazing from when we first saw the venue to when we got married. The whole day was so magical. I couldn't of picked a better venue. All the staff was lovely aswell. I felt sad the day was finished not only because our big day was over but to not see Helen again. Such a lovely woman and very helpful. I would highly recommend this venue to any Bride & Groom.

Me and Dave have just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary, our special day was truly wonderful bringing all our family and friends together to celebrate at St Augustine’sThe building and grounds are stunning and full of character and history, to be wed in the chapel was fantastic.Helen was brilliant, and all the team Amanda and Paula were very supportive and attentive all the way through our journey. The decorations from Amanda were beautiful, everything came together and made it a relaxed and happy day for everyone, the food was great and the all the staff that helped were brilliant.Jason the DJ was great a real varied selection of music it was good to meet him.We recommend St Augustine’s for events, me and Dave are so thankful to you all.

We held our works annual dinner for around 80 people on Friday 7 June 2019. Our theme was “The Great Gatsby” so we decided to use “The Chapel” room. Our event co-ordinator and her team did us proud. From start to finish she was there at the end of the phone or email answering our various questions and queries. We visited the venue a handful of times to go through with our event co-ordinator what we wanted to do and arranging everything from menu choice, wine, layout of room, decorations and she had so many ideas and suggestions as well to help make our dinner a brilliant one. She and her team on the night made it run so smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed working with St Augustine;s and making our annual a fantastic and we can’t thank you enough.

We cannot find the right words to describe our wedding at St.Augustines, “simply magical”, sounds right.Being 70 years old we had preconceived ideas about what we wanted for our special day. We can’t praise Nicola Howard (manager), high enough for her knowledge and professionalism as she expertly organised and help us plan our big day, nothing we asked for was too much of a problem for her.The ceremony room was lovely, right down to the candle lit lanterns and red carpet. It was all beautiful and stylish. The meal was amazing food of a high quantity, expertly cooked and presented with finesse.The waiters/ bar staff were, attentive, smartly dressed and went out of their way to ensure that our guests were served well and in a timely fashion, while Nicola kept a watchful eye on the whole proceedings.Our guest have since commented that it was the best wedding meal that they have experienced.We would just like to thank Nicola and her staff for making our wedding day, truly memorable, and would not hesitate to recommend the venue for any function or special occasion.
