Old Town Tattoo Shop.
I cannot recommend Matt at Hastings Tattoo highly enough, period. From my initial provision of a Giger-influenced Xenomorph idea, he came up with the near perfect interpretation. He totally got my suggestion of a couple of minor tweaks to the draft, and then delivered a tour-de-force of artistic superiority. Don’t just take my word for it, check the photo, examine the detail, absolutely top notch!

My sister & I visited this tattoo shop at the weekend. The male and female tattooists were so unfriendly, the lady especially was inpatient and appeared to have a really bad attitude. It put us off so we left. I wouldn't recommend them.

Went in today to ask about a tattoo and how much it would cost. Which was cheaper than another tattoo shop very close by. They agreed to do the tattoo there and then. Was very helpful asked me which font I would like, then was given a choice of sizes which were printed out so I could choose from. Sat in the chair and the lady who did the tattoo was very precise about how straight the tattoo would be. She was very understanding about me having hot flushes as well. I was extremely happy with my whole experience and the customer service I received with being offered help if I needed to get up the few steps due to my disabilities. Thank you all the staff that were in the shops today and also for my tattoo which I love

I called Old Town Tattoo shop asking if they did walks ins. Lucky for me on that day there were so I booked a specific time that day.Lou, was super accommodating and got to work straight away in advising me on size and placement of the paw print tattoo I wanted.I had a picture of my dogs actual paw print. Lou, took a picture of it then traced around it. Printed off a few different sizes for me to see and choose which one I preferred. I was close to tears with how the tattoo looked after it was done.Old Town Tattoo were professional throughout and did a fantastic job.Thank you.

Would not recommend coming here for a piercing. Nice people who put me at ease, but also didn't seem very experienced and put in a ring into my new ear lobe piercing straight away – I have since found out (the hard way!) that rings move around freely and attract bacteria and infection when they're used in new piercings, and most studios will advise you against getting them until a piercing has fully healed up. One course of antibiotics later, I will be booking into a different studio asap to get the right kind of jewellery instead!

Fantastic tattoo from Matt. He took my scribbled notes and made them a reality. Really friendly staff (and customers) and put me totally at ease. Had a lovely chat while Matt was working and couldn’t be happier with my tattoo that I’ve been thinking about now for over a year. Thanks so much.

Quite literally the nicest couple and I came out with the most perfect tattoo!! Walked in wanting a simple fine lined number, and was made to feel comfortable from the get go - even though the tattoo is teeny and silly!! (My description anyway!!) . As a small tattoo, it was able to be done there and then. Reasonable pricing and excellent cleaning and after care advice given.I have another simple idea planned and can’t wait to go back here :)Thank you both so much!!! :)

Wow ! From consultation until completion, a fantastic service with lovely polite wonderful people . I love my tattoo, and we shall see you soon when my partner returns for her tattoo in a couple of months, and I'll be asking for advice on my next tattoo
