Rhod is a fantastic carpenter/fitter/designer. He’s great to work with - really listened to what we wanted and suggested some great ways to make it happen. So happy we’ve used him for two separate rooms.

We first came across Rhod about 4 years ago when we engaged him to make a bookcase and television cabinet, and we haven’t and wouldn’t even consider hiring anyone else to do carpentry or cabinetry in our home again. When we first encountered him, he was working for a company, but when he set up on his own, we were so taken with him and his work that we happily followed him. He is always our first call!As well as the original bookcase, he has designed and built us a floor to ceiling bookcase, which he ingenuously designed to be possible to easily disassemble if we move, yet solid as a rock when full of books, plants and ceramics. He also built in wardrobes, shelves and a bookcase, all designed to fit an awkward, uneven space in our bedroom.He provides a consistently excellent quality of work, and terrific customer service, while also being a darn lovely chap who it’s a pleasure to provide tea for.If you are looking for someone utterly trustworthy to do a really good job, look no further.

We’ve just had bespoke oak veneer wardrobes designed and fitted by Rhod from Nook. They are a genuine thing of beauty. Rhods attention to detail is faultless. Rhodri did a fantastic job installing alcove cupboards in the living room of our Georgian flat. He helped to ensure a sympathetic design to the period features during and after his initial survey. The installation was to a very high quality, quick but not too quick, and we could not be happier with the finish. The cost was also extremely fair, and he's a lovely bloke to boot!. Could not recommend highly enough.

We couldn't be happier with our fitted wardrobes. The design and quotation process was straightforward, with Rhod taking all our requirements into account, giving advice and making adjustments to suit our precise needs. The installation was carried out with care and attention to detail, and everything – wardrobes, hinges, internal drawers – is of excellent quality. We are very, very pleased with the design and installation of a wardrobe in our bedroom. It was a tricky alcove with a slope but Rhodri has created a beautifully finished high quality wardrobe that looks great and is also practical.
