Tendring Dog Grooming Academy

I have been using Steph (Tendring Dog Grooming) for my cocker Spaniel for a few years now. Tess is happy going in, I don't feel like I am having to drag her into appointments, which shows she feels happy and content whilst there and her cut is always how I ask it to be.More recently we asked Steph about her dental programme. Tess is a very loving dog but her breathe was more than questionable, I rarely write reviews, but I wasn't sure if it would work but it was try this or a visit to the vets. I am very pleased to say that her breathe is no longer offensive and her teeth are starting to look much whiter which is a great result for a 9 year old dog. Thanks Steph. I would recommend.

I have been bringing my 2 cockapoos to Stephanie for 3 years now and have to say I cannot fault anything about this groomer. Stephanie is great and my boys are returned to me unstressed and looking beautiful each time and I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Fabulous dog grooming service, our Irish Setter has a very unruly coat and she is quite nervous but she always comes out looking beautiful if only for a few weeks until she has unruly hair again :) Recommend them 100%.

What a great day. Sam has the patience of a saint and is so good with her students (canine and human). She is obviously committed to ensuring that dog grooming is fun but done in a 'professional' way even for someone like myself who just wanted to know what to do for their own dog. Whilst adhering to health & safety in her premises she does not let that interfere with being relaxed and working comfortably. My pooch came out looking like a different dog, was surprisingly happy after a day of being brushed, trimmed, washed, dried, brushed, clipped, brushed, combed, brushed (was there ever enough brushing? Apparently not!). My head was filled with hits, tips and an appropriate degree of confidence to be able to do the same at home next time round. Thanks Sam

I actually live in Kent 75 miles away but a family member moved to Little Clacton in January of this year. I visit regularly and bring my two dogs with me.I have been using Tendring Dog Grooming services on a regular basis since January and find the Stephanie excellent especially as one of my dogs Scooby can be a handful to groom but Stephanie manages him very well and both Scooby and Fifi return looking and smelling lovely.I would have no hesitation in recommending Stephanie's dog grooming service to anyone.

I have been using Tendring Dog Grooming Academy for almost ten years for my Westie, Rosie. I have always found the Grooming Parlour professional, friendly and very kind to the dogs. I have been extremely pleased in the way Stephanie has dealt with my dog throughout the years, offering different services and advice if necessary. Rosie always emerges from the premises looking happy, well clipped and groomed.

I am a student at Tendring Dog Grooming Training Academy doing the City and Guilds level 2 dog grooming course. I am loving the course, I groom every day that I am there, it's very hands on! Steph is such a brilliant and patient teacher who really cares and wants you to be the best you can. I started with no experience and I am learning some great skills and techniques every day. It is lovely to have so much one to one help and guidance whilst grooming, this is where the larger colleges lack. I would definitely recommend Tendring Dog Grooming Training Academy to anyone wanting to learn to become a dog groomer!

I have a rather un co-operative little dog called Bonnie. But the staff are caring and do a very good job on her. The teeth cleaning, and spa treatments, are really worth having done. I highly recommend Tendring Dog Grooming Academy.

We have taken our Cockapoo to Tendring Dog Grooming Academy (Canine Barbers) since 2013. He always looks and smells great when he has been there and we are very happy with the service we receive and the standard of work done. Highly recommended.
