Jewson Glasgow (Rutherglen)

Had the displeasure of using this branch, would not recommend staff in the office are very rude and the level of customer service is terrible, original delivery date scheduled for 16th July to be told on the day via email would not be arriving until 19th July phoned the branch to be told delivery would definitely be that day, did not arrive full day wasted at customers site, called up on 3 seperate occasions spoke to 3 different staff members all who promised to call back to confirm if delivery would be 19th no one called back, revieved email stating delivery had been made that evening of 19th which it was not, phoned branch first thing on 20th July spoke to a very rude man who has no concept of customer services to be told if driver could not get into the customers street delivery would not be made, All information I had relayed to the branch department was not passed on to driver as this was done to make his job easier and safer. The street was not difficult to get access to for the vehicle driver was brilliant. DO NOT use this branch, complete let down the company will never be using this branch again. Rude on the phone. 3 days wasted on site with no materials being delivered and no courtesy call to advise of the delay.

Terrible customer service from the branch manger. I understand with COVID-19 things have been difficult but after ordering 4.8m decking boards a week in advance, I was told two hours after they were supposed to arrive that they had oversold and I would not be receiving my order. Instead, the branch manger David, sent 3.6m boards with an extra 5 lengths to cover what was missing. With the frame already built this would not be enough to cover the what was needed and labours were increased. David then told me if i needed another couple of lengths he would sort it out. After phoning the branch to ask for two more boards, David ignored all 4 of my calls even after leaving multiple messages with the staff for him to contact me. Embarrassing for a branch manager to behave in this manor. I would recommend other Jewson branches but I suggest you avoid this one.

Just phoned to get prices for timber asked what size the 5x2 come in he told me 4.8 so was calculating it out in my head how many I need and within 5 seconds the person said is that all I said no sounded like he did not want to help at all

definetly would not recommend this branch.Manager worked with builder to fraudulently use my account. Got refund after over one year. Make sure you record any calls or conversations, jewsons cannot be trusted.
