Stanwix Park Holiday Centre

Be very carful booking we want to return to same appartment as before (ground floor with double bedroom & single bunk bed room & was told this was not a problem paid £755 a year in advance only to be told a week before we go 1st floor flat with 1bunt bedroom absolute joke.. as my son has autism & we have 2dogs cost £70 extre.. Read ur booking very well.

Good wee park,however we had an apartment,it was very smelly,bought air freshner,sofa and chairs so stained and dirty,fortunately only 2 of us so covered chairs with spare quilts.People leaving dogs in so barking.Over all we had a good time.

Absolutely fantastic place!! My 2 boys loved it. This park has so much to offer. The kids entertainment is great! They definitely know how to get the kids tired. We all can't wait to come back in October! The staff couldn't be more friendly. Always smiling and making sure you were okay.

Just left after staying a week. Rebooked for next year. Fantastic site, clean and a nice size. Facilities are awesome and even managed to get into the outdoor pool. Weather was spot on. Staff were great throughout the whole week. Serviced pitches so didn't need to aquaroll and waste. Only downside is there quite small for the car so we parked it in the car park. Indoor pool is lovely. Kids loved the arcade. We didn't get chance to use the bowling alleys. Take cash. There are several vans that come onto site that are cash only and the kids will want cash for the arcade.We took a walk into silloth which took about 15 mins and you must make a visit to jaybees you don't know you need it until you go. It has everything you didn't know u needed.There's a nice ice cream shop and a bakery for some scones and jam and cream.Good beaches nearby and we did some paddleboarding too.Can't wait for next year!

Unfortunately very unsanitary, we managed to contract giardiasis from either the food we ordered from our first night or the water supply. The next day we all came down very sick, very quickly.We let the reception know we were sick and did the right thing by staying in the caravan throughout our holiday.No hello, no help, no how do you do throughout our miserable stayThe best part of the customer service was the gardener asking how we were and a lovely lady who was working the shop.No one at reception offered any support or checked up while everyone was near enough bed bound.Don’t be fooled by online, there is very little to do and is impossible to not do everything in a day.If you arrive early enough you might be lucky enough not to have to stay overnight.Caravan maintenance seems to be a bodge job and plenty of jobs need doing.Leaky/ broken pipes underneath, broken towel racks, tv remotes both out of battery. (Can’t change yourself unless you bring your screwdriver on holiday) Quite a few bulbs out. Bedding was left on the end of a mattress with questionable stains, over not clean, oven hood not clean. Floor had food on. Table still had food on. One of the toilets had what looked like used tissue behind.If you do not drive, this is NOT the place for you.If you drive, leaving is the best part.Handing the keys back felt like an absolute relief.

First class entertainment. This is a very special caravan park and brilliant for families. A short walk into the town takes you to the coast and shops.My only gripe with the park is sometimes the seating as it can be difficult to get seats in the clubhouse for sell-out events-so I would definitely get there early! Drink prices are really reasonable.Overall, I would recommend Stanwix.

First time here and it's been the best caravan holiday we've had so far!!Caravans are very nice and all staff from reception, pool lifeguards, shop and entertainment have been amazing and so friendly and helpful!! The kids have loved all the activities especially the prize bingo and evening entertainment. We found food and drinks on site were very reasonably priced compared to other big chain holiday parks!!The whole site is kept extremely clean and tidy.We've enjoyed it so much we've already booked to come back at the same time next year!!

Great site but sadly there now asking far too much to stay there, so much so it's cheaper to take a break with bigger rivals such as parkdean or Haven and to be fair they have more on site for the kids. Stanwix was brilliant little site run really well and reasonably priced, now it is all about how much they can empty your wallet. They have a cafe which costs £14 for a cheeseburger and chips, u can go to a top restaurant for that, even haven don't charge that. Touring Pitches have absolutely sky rocketed to the point of stupidity, you can hire a static for literally a few pound moreRoland Stanwix sort this out or your set to lose a lot of custom.I will be booking my 3 breaks for 2024 elsewhere next year and so will the 3 other families that normally come with us

We have our own caravan . This is our first time at Stanwix . We had a absolute blast. My girls 7 and 9 absolutely loved it . The pool and the entertainment where first class . Site is very clean and very tidy . We will be back . Girls actually cried when we had to pack up and leave . Well done Stanwix
