The Searson Family Funeral Service

I’ve been searching for the perfect casket for my son for a while and came across The Searsons very close to my work place. I went one morning to see if they could do what I wanted and I was amazed by the warm lovely welcome I received by Andy and his wife lily. I can honestly say I was overwhelmed. Nothing is impossible and nothing was to small. I was kept informed with every change and was sent before pictures which was amazing. I cannot thank the service enough and from the bottom of mine and my family’s hearts you made a very nice and unique place for my son to be. Beautiful bespoke casket and forever thank you.

My mothers funeral was held in June . The Searson family in Havant took care of the funeral from start to finish . Andy spoke about my mum like he knew her .. I was blown away by this . I went to them after a recommendation and I was so glad that I did . Abby helped me and my sister through the process and always ready to help. I also arranged the flowers there and I was given good advice for the purchase . Planning my mums funeral was heartbreaking but these amazing people helped my and my sister so much . Richard and I would like to thank, Lily,Andy, Debbie and all the family at Searsons Leigh Park who done an amazing job in August of this year of looking after and caring for our sister Lorraine Purse when she sadly passed away at the rowans hospice. It was the 2nd time Richard had used the Seasons as he and Lorraine ( when she was still with us ) had sat with Lily and discussed her funeral plan at her home and all her wishes were carried out just as she wanted them to be when her time sadly came. It was my first ever experience of death and with the kind words and guidance the family gave I managed to carry on at such a difficult time and was able to have comfort in viewing lou and having my final goodbyes to her. Andy took the service and he was amazing, I thought I'd be in floods of tears but the send off lou had was the upbeat with her music and her memories the way we all liked to remember her. Thankyou to all of you. I hope anyone deciding which funeral directors to attend decide here as lou had the best care possible from the moment she arrived to the moment she left. We have nothing but praise for the Searson Family Funeral Service, who dealt with my wife's Mum last year on 21st October and my own Dad this February 15th. Debi, Andy and the family are just truly decent people who are compassionate, dealing with families in a very understanding and kind manner. Andy Searson officiated at both of our parent’s services, and the way in which he spoke with kindness, honesty and positivity gave us all a unique and memorable experience to help ease the sadness of the day itself. The service was so personable, and believe it or not, that does help the event seem just a little easier to deal with. Thank you Andy!Thank you also to Lewis and Thomas who drove us that day and supporting us whilst carrying in our Dad's funeral casket. The flowers also provided by Jasmines were excellent.We would without doubt highly recommend the Searson Family Funeral Service, and whilst none of us ever want to face or deal with losing loved ones, it certainly gave our families great comfort knowing our special parents were being cared for even at their end of this journey.

The best, I would highly recommend them to anyone they are so caring.They have done some of my husbands family's funeral and everything was done very professional, Andy went to see my sister in-law Dianne at her home to talk to her and carry out her wishes.They recently did my mums funeral and again the staff were great,Lily kept us informed at all times. Andy and Debbie went all out to make my mum look lovely as if she was just asleep. I would also like to thank Jasmine`s Flower Shop for all the lovely flowers they did and the spray for the coffin was out of this world very mums flowers.The service was a happy one and mum would have loved it, well done Andy.The Searson's Family are a great team.Thank you so much.

The Searson Family Funeral Service were fantastic in helping me and my family arrange my brother's recent funeral. We were looked after by Lily and she helped us through the whole process, advising and keeping us informed at all times. She recommended the perfect minister to officiate and the funeral at The Oaks was a perfect send off for our brother. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you so much!

I've never had to organise a funeral, I was lost, Debbie at searsons guided me through the entire process, nothing was too much to ask. Michelle was laid out beautifully and respectfully, with dignity. The whole team were amazing and I could not thank them enough for everything they did for me, to ensure I could give Michelle a funeral she deserved. The printed casket/coffins are incredible Michelle's was stunning and done with so much respect they really caught Michelle's passion for butterflies and angels, creating a screen that was truly magical. Andy created a services that we could all enjoy and celebrate Michelle's life with giggles and happiness again really catching Michelle's wishes and beliefs about funerals he was amazing and I can truly say anyone wanting a modern funeral go for searsons and ensure you get Andy I can't thank them enough for every ounce of help and support they gave me every step of the way ensuring Michelle really come through for her funeral created laughs tears and a stunning view for us with a picture coffins that lights up the room.From everyone of Michelle's family thank you to the season's family. I do not have enough words to thank Andy and Lily for their love and support when our mother, Hilary Butcher passed away on the 2 April 2018. Thank you so much for taking mom into your home, for caring for her until she was laid to rest. Thank you Andy for the beautiful Service booklets, much appreciated. We could not have asked for better, everyone at the Searson Family Funeral Service in Havant were professional, kind and very caring and I would not hesitate in recommending them. Searsons dealt with the funeral of my partner Nicola,I must say that I was blown away with the level of attention to detail at all levels,right from the initial meeting,where the process was discussed what would happen, the next stage of decision making what would happen at the ceremony. The charges were made clear from the outset and they were willing to make changes to meet the budget we had.The staff were all compassionate on the regular occasions that I visited Nicola and explained that she may not look like she did in life and even gave me advance warning that she had to receive additional make up to ensure she was still looked OK.The staff gave great advice on the wording for the ceremony and blended the family's words brilliantly,which gave seamless wording. They also did a brilliant job with the orders of service,which everyone commented were brilliantly put together.On the actual day,the hearse and cars turned up early and the staff were very polite and welcoming,making a hard day easier. Andy was brilliant with his delivery of the service,everyone commented that there was the right level of humour,poignant words and engagement with those at the funeral. Some even commented I don't think I have laughed at a funeral,but Andys delivery made it a celebration of Nicolas life,rather than a sad event!Bonnie also gave me great advice when I advised that I couldn't find a suitable storage for Nicolas ashes,she advised of an alternative that wasn't on show in the shop and when I explained what would happen with the ashes,she offered alternatives that would be more practical,but still worked. She even ensured that we could have arrangements so that Nicola could come home when she was ready and come back with her ashes to be transferred to the finished container,which I think was a lovely touch.Finally Jasmine's flowers deserve a mention,the staff listened to what we wanted offered advice on what worked best and made sure it was all exactly what was required.This is the second time we have used searsons,after using for Nicolas Mum and I must say both times a difficult experience has been made a lot easier and stress and hassle free,I have no problems recommending Searsons and a 5 star review is definitely deserved,if I could give more I would! Used Searson funerals for my husband Robert, who passed away in September 2018. Wonderful family run business & felt that they were all so caring & compassionate about our needs as a family. They explained everything from start to finish. They cared for my husband with care & compassion which was so lovely considering with what we were dealing with. Nothing was too much for them to sort for us & they gave us so much time with my husband before the funeral which was so very precious to us as a family to say our goodbyes. There not like any ordinary funeral directors. Kind, caring & very compassionate to your needs & your budget & husband had such a special funeral & we thank the Searsson family from the bottom of our hears for helping our family make it so special.Kind regards.The Parker Family x
