It has taken weeks to get microchipped changed after we rehomed a dog. Emails take so long time to be answered and then they don’t actually answer the question you have asked... or they just resend forms! finally had a response today after asking if the transfer has been completed - the response said nothing but ‘it is in your account’. No confirmation of transfer was received and no one has explained that I even have an account!! Really bad customer services and very poor communication and certainly not worth the £24.99 they charge to change details!! It certainly does not give you confidence should your pet be lost.

Reading some reviews, and yes, once the phone went dead on me but was answered straight away on second call. Wanted to change an address. Followed their instructions and this was completed by a lovely lady extremely quickly. No issues at all

Asked them to update my dogs details. Wiped my account completely. Been emailing with no replies. Phone rings out managed to get an answer once on a premium number which is illegal I might add so it cost me just for the bloke to say email. So I did and no response. It's law to have your dog chipped but if mine ever gets lost he will never be reunited as there's no details. Appalling appalling service. There is two numbers on their site a premium one and a local one. Surprisingly the premium number gets answered the local one does not

Moved house and wanted to change our address on the database for the microchip. Can’t be done on your online account, you have to contact them and pay £15!! Far better and fairer companies available. Avoid

Great customer service and very efficient company!Needed to switch my dogs microchips over from the breeder, this was a very quick process. I took the form from their website and scanned it over to them via email. They were changed over within a few hours of sending the form. Very fast response time would completely recommend. I had no issues despite reading bad reviews, people should leave more good reviews; most people only go on to write a bad review nowadays!5 stars in my experience!

Can I please give less than zero stars?It has now been 80 days since setting up an account and attempting to register 2 adopted cats for a welfare charity. The animals are apparently 'registered' in 'my account' but I have no account details when I log in and therefore no pets registered.Phone lines always ring off the hook, emails somewhat more productive but it's 3 weeks since I was told they would look into it.

Top service, went to register chip and it was locked to the breeder, oh nooo! The reviews are true I thought. No- phoned up waiting about 2 seconds and a chap answered and said the chip is locked to the breeder and he will unlock it, 5 mins later I was able to register.As for payment - of course you need to pay to have your pet stored in a database and have the telephone support. However there are free database’s and I believe you can register your chip free with protected pet by simply exiting out the payment window once registered. This doesn’t give you the benefits like updating details. Think about it, a £40 quid Microchip does not cover the overheads of a operation like this. 30 quid to make sure my pets details are upto date all the time? Bargain.A* service team!!!Only bad thing is you charge for a microchip certificate. Hey ho

AWFUL - I have been trying to change my pets microchip for almost 4 months! I have emailed multiple times and it can take weeks to get a reply that doesn't even answer my questions. It is disgusting! I do not want to post all my credit card details to them and it says you can do it online which you can't. The vet is now discussing a second microchip however that will be an issue if my dog gets lost as he will have two so they could contact the wrong people!! I am so worried and this company are disgusting and useless! I'm starting to feel they are a backstreet company - lets see if they respond to this before I get a response any of my emails

Dreadful service. I run a lurcher and sighthound charity and there is a dog in our care with an unregistered chip. Protected Pets have been emailed asking this chip to be registered to our rescue. They emailed back asking how long we had been a rescue and saying we had a general email" whatever they mean by that. I explained our email wasnt general it was in the resuces name. Nothing. I rang today and asked for this chip to be registered to our rescue. The person on the phone said they would have to refer it to management???? Meanwhile this dog has an unregistered chip. If she goes missing she will not be traced to our rescue. This is apalling service. If there was a minus star

Tried to rejister our pup chip, which we had put in by our vet. Pup was rescue never rejister of chipped before and was blocked by these guys.. We have to rejister and change ownership.. Scam as call for help cost £1.40 and all tbey said was e mail them
