Staff are great. Very poor selection at times. Shop is very narrow and can feel claustrophobic at busy times. Staff also need to make people aware of the queuing systems. Tourists aren't aware you need to line up at the far end, and staff rarely correct them when they walk straight up to a till in front of the que.

I bought from this Co-op twice during my holiday in Skye. The selection of food is OK but I didn't enjoy either visit. The first time the shop was packed and I could barely move. The second time I was served by a staff member who ignored me when I said 'hi' to her and was generally very surly.

Quite a cramped wee store but there's pretty much everything you need in here from a typical co-op.Staff were helpful and friendly too. Especially putting up with the crowds on the Skye Highland Games days - and other times of the tourist seasons!There is a larger out of town store if you need further items.Limited parking available outside.

This is an essential visit place to visit while you are in Portree Scotland UK. Just a few minutes walk from the town centre. We picked up freshly baked donuts and fresh fruits for our trip. Also one of the places that are open late when you need to pick up anything urgent in this area.

High season experience: This is a small store in a very popular tourist area. As a result, the staff are under some pressure to keep everything moving. When you get to the checkout, they ring up your things and leave them behind a plexiglass barrier on the counter where your job is to bag fast or else you’ll be holding things up for the next person. This is more complicated than it sounds since it’s hard to get the bags open and you have to reach under the plexiglass to get your items. The store is liable to run out of things during the busy season.

Life saver when you arrive to your hotel in Portree after 9 pm and realize that ALL restaurants and takeaway places are closed. They have an extensive prepared food section, bread, fresh fruit, wine, etc.

Great little convienence store with a decent range at good prices. Ideal if you're staying at a B&B and have arrived late so you can stock up on supplies.
