Worst skip company To deal with in my 30 plus in construction. an in correct skip on a drive and they can't collect it. And they say it's our fault .. how ? They should be Professional enough to know what They are doing. Also, they have now damaged the driveway beyond repair, possibly 2 thousand pounds worth of damageUpdate..The skip we asked for was a 8 yard skip for heavy clay, the skip is less than less than 3/4 full and you said it's to heavy, surely you shouldn't of put the skip there if you can't collect it due to the access issue ?Just please work out away between you all to get it removed, please.After it's gone, I'm going to have to pay to repair the drive as your drivers didn't put anything under the legs so smashed the concrete drive.When the skip is gone ill will remove this review..Update. 1 month since this review and the skip is still on the drive... 20 + phone calls from various people and no joy. I believe the only option is to go legal, as I've spoken to other people who are having the same issue.

Spoke to various staff members in the skip hire office all were courteous and efficient. Hired a skip which came when they said it would and was taken away quicker than planned. Highly recommend Nick Brookes.

The service from you guys has been absolutely appalling this week!I booked an exchange skip with you over a week ago, to be told that it would be exchanged on Tuesday. Tuesday comes, no exchange of the skip despite being told that it would be in the afternoon.I call the office on Wednesday and am told again that it would be exchanged on that day. Again, nobody arrives and I’m told that it will be exchanged on Thursday instead.Driver arrives on Thursday with the new skip, but tells me that someone else is due to collect the existing skip beforehand, and then asks if there’s anywhere else he can drop the new one. With no available space I tell them “unfortunately not”I get home at 8am on Friday morning to find the skip has been dropped partially on the driveway and partially on the pavement. I’ve now had multiple calls with people in the office to advise that this can’t stay there as it’s a hazard and likely to be complained about. I was told that it will be collected today and that the driver would call when they’re on their way.4pm, still no driver and I’ve now been told that it’s booked for tomorrow. So it’ll have to remain on the pavement overnight with no lights.Not good enough, and in the years I’ve been using skip companies this is easily the most unprofessional experience I’ve had.

Ordered a skip exchange for a Monday morning and the driver was there promptly and exchanged the full one. Great service.Driver was very professional, as entrance is quite awkward to get wagon in compound. Top notch

Absolutely AWFUL experience, DO NOT hire a skip from Nick Brookes. Hired a skip in 2018 which is still sat in our garden (yes, for 5 years). Our gutter was damaged upon the delivery of the skip, this was noted at the time when signed for by my mum and the delivery man and agreed it would be fixed.5 years of being ignored, people coming to try and collect the skip without repairing the damage and going back and forth. Work men have confirmed this damage could have only been done with the height of the machine that delivered the skip due to the angle and height, including men they have sent out to take a look from Nick Brookes.The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced, literally do not care one bit, have put the phone down on us multiple times and have clearly got no intentions of repairing the damage that they caused.Please don’t respond to this asking us to contact you to sort this out, we have tried for 5 years and got absolutely no where. You will need to contact us to resolve this, repair the damage and we are more than happy to give you your skip back.

Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have used Nick Brookes for waste management at two large events, one in 2022 for the Platinum Jubilee and one recently in 2023 for the King's Coronation, both events had over 1000 people attending with accompanying food stalls and entertainment so you can imagine the waste generated! The skips were delivered and collected on time and the teams were cheerful and helpful. Can't comment on if it was good value because on both occasions, the charge was waived in aid of the charities benefiting from the events - thank you so much, really appreciated!

Have both skips and concrete weekly. Nothing is ever an issue, helpful staff both in the office and out in the field.

On phone enquiry Lisa was brilliant, best service I recieved from 7 different companies. George, who mixed and barrowed my concrete was very customer focused, clean, tidy, efficient. Great job all round.

Wanted to order a skip for some old slabs/garden waste. Was contacted back immediately, everything sorted, skip arrived within 2 days and was collected a few days later. Alexia who arranged everything was great from start to finish, highly recommend.

Helpful office staff on the phone and good service from all the drivers I've encountered, they have all had a cheerful can-do attitude which I have found packing from many other drivers. Used them for skips and concrete. Their prices are right too.
