I bought these sweets from here earlier today, got them home and peeled the “special price” tag of £1.99 off to find that he’d put it over the price on the packet which is £1. This is illegal and he is literally stealing my money.

A sane and orderly corner of St James’s! Every kind of fruit and veg ALWAYS available. Somehow in this small v well stocked store, he has everything from every corner of the globe. A huge array of hard to find spices, herbs, pulses, nuts, grains, teas. Great vegan and whole food range. Asian, African, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, East European. I even found rose water. I get overwhelmed and spend too much! It is on the pricier side but u are buying independent and local from properly paid world producers. This guy works every hour God sends. And it isn’t Lidl.

I love that there's an old fashioned" corner store in the neighborhood. One with a good selection of produce and products and a kind person in charge! Beats the shabby supermarkets that surround it by much."

I've bought big watermelon from here I didn't mind the price even though was more expensive then other places but the quality and taste was really bad. I've ask the seller before my purchases about the quality but he ensure me that all the fruits are high quality.

Happened upon this gem. fabolus selection of fresh produce, whole food and vegan foods too. This is definatly the best selection of health foods that I have found in a long time

An absolute hidden gem in the city that more people should be made aware of. Having moved over to Kemptown at the end of last year I was still trekking over to Taj in Hove to find my obscure ingredients until I stumbled by this place. This place stocks a lot of the fresh fruit and veg that I have only found in Taj until now with the quality probably surpassing that of Taj too. They also stock a huge range of dried goods (a massive wall of different rices, pulses, etc), tins, and foreign sauces/spices. The guy who runs it is also very friendly and knowledgeable

Just the best little deli in the world. Such a fantastic array of goods, all fresh and lovely. They have every nut or grain you could possibly imagine as well as local honey. They even do a wicked range of vegan stuff. Best of all is the Turkish cheeses. Yum!
