Formula One Autocentres - Reading

Very disappointed. When 1st going there, looks very professional. Quoted me decent price for a MOT and service which took the day, then told me I need to bring back for other issues which cost me double, believe some of which should have been included in service and I now have a engin light on which they told me I need to take to BMW specialist anyway which is going to cost me another £150. My car is only 5 years old and done 30k millage so there should be this much wrong.My car doesn't feel as smooth since.They also did a wheel alignment twice within 2 weeks and charged me.

I have used F1 many times and the experience has always been friendly and professional. Lewis is as asset to your business, provides superb service with a smile and goes out of his way to be helpful! Great team all round!

When I went to collect my car after I had the MOT I was told that there were a few advisories that needed to be done and I should book an appointment to get these done. I took the car to another garage and was informed that the advisories were not necessary. Also I'm not sure why the had to delete the dash cam video when they did the MOT.

I wish I could given them Zero rating! I booked a MOT and Full service with them few months back, dropped the car and went home. They called me and wanted to do some work worth £200 on rear brakes which I asked them not to because I literally had new rear breakes few months back and there was nothing wrong. The car passed the MOT so I was thinking they are just looking for some work. I collected the car and immediately noticed there is a issue with the brakes. I turned back half way and asked them why it is taking so long to brake. They checked it and found out that something in my rear brake has broken" and it would cost £150+VAT. Because I asked them not to do any work they broke my brakes even though they were perfect when I dropped the car. I had to get that work done because my car was not safe for the road. I would not recommend these junkies at all as they will break something to charge you ££. Stay Away!"

All of the guys were very good, I arranged my service and they undertook all of the work and undertook a inspection of my car and found a problem with my suspension which i have booked in with them to to the further work. All excellent! I would recommend them to everybody, trustworthy and honest!

I booked MOT with them, but they told me they can’t do it because am 10 mins late! But can’t they understand for a single Mom of 2, who is rush everyday to sort everything and give an understanding!? Rubbish and never go back again!!!

Went in with a perfectly drivable van for its MOT, they came out saying I should get my power steering looked at as it’s a little rough. I drove it away and noticed a heavy vibration when turning. Evidently something has occurred in the workshop during the MOT. I drove back immediately and spoke to a member of staff who had a blank face on a broken record that they only performed a check and didn’t cause the issue, if I was concerned I should go get it looked at. I mentioned it doesn’t feel safe to drive and he said it’s just passed the MOT so it’s safe to drive it. Absolutely getting no where, I’ve reported to head office but it’s a Saturday and very little I can do.Definitely avoid this place at all cost! Not worth your money at all as they just cause more problems

Left my driverside wheel nuts loose after an alignment, just had to pay another garage to diagnose the horrific sound my car was making.Ended up paying out another £70 to have the wheel nuts tightened..This wasn't one or two of the nuts...It was all of them - hand tightNot cool
