Nicole and the volunteers do a brilliant job at looking after the animals. It’s quite clear that they’re all well cared for. The kitten that I rescued settled in really quickly which was a lovely surprise!

After haven to make a heart braking decision for the best for my kitten who I sadly had to rehome ,Nicole and the girls at changing lifes Carrington was from beginning to the end was verry supportive ,kind caring and very understanding my situation they reassured me all be OK I can't thank team enough I can see they work verry hard day and nite and care deeply for every animal that goes to there care from the bottom of my heart thank you all so much ❤

Found my black and white fur baby Gizmo here last week and we brought him home with a mild dose of cat flu for which he has medication.Nicole who runs Carrington even came out to see me to offer support and advice she really is a remarkable person and her passion for these animals is clear to see. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicole and her team of volunteers who do an amazing job for the animals in their care.

Changing lives at Carringtons is an absolutely fab place. All those that we have met were friendly and compassionate and truly care for any animal that need their help. We were so happy to give Basil a home after he was surrendered by his previous owner. We had a home check to make sure we could provide a safe enclosure that Basil was worthy of which was quick and easy. This cemented my belief that they have all animals best interests at heart and wouldn’t let them go to just anyone.

I love this little rescue. We got our 8yr old summer (now sassycat) from Nicole and she’s become definitely part of the family quickly! I’m allergic to cats but have a good tolerance to long haired but there’s always a risk I’d be too allergic to Sassycat so.Nicole was so accommodating and happily let me interact with Sassy before taking her home to ensure I’ll be ok with her. Process of adoption was easy and reliable and was happy to rehome her to a house with a dog as Sassy had already lived with dogs

We rescued an adult cat from Changing Lives. Nicole does amazing work, she clearly loves the animals and provides a really professional service - making sure Smudge was chipped, spayed, and in great health. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking to adopt a cat.

Lovely place, my daughter enjoys the small animals day playing with kittens, guinea pigs, and rabbits.

Would just like to thank Nicole for everything she does in aid to care for all the small animals at the rescue all the endless work she does to make each and every individual small animal that enters the doors.Nicole is very passionate about changing animals lives but not only that changing the life’s of people who walk through them doors too.I’ve volunteered there for a year now since being diagnosed with Autism & ADHD last year since starting there I have found my feet, my love for those cherished little babies and become to adventure in my life opening my own business thanks to Nicole for showing me I could do it and be who I wanted to be.This is such a small independent rescue and they strive to make each individual animal feel loved & cared for.
