the thoughtful potter

Spent a lovely morning with Deborah and the other students at The Thoughtful Potter recently. Deborah is so encouraging and passionate about pottery, it was such a supportive and positive atmosphere. And we all produced some fabulous pots. Thank you Deborah for reviving my inner potter!!

Thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon class, having never done one before. Debs is very patient and with her help I managed to make something resembling a pot, which was very satisfying. Anyone thinking go having a go I say do it. It's really good fun.

The thoughtful potter is set in a beautiful setting in the most peaceful workshop. I booked a group booking for some friends & we all had an amazing time. With Deborah guiding us along the way we were making & decorating vases, surrounded by dried flowers, drinking coffee, eating cake, with the wood burner going.. couldn’t ask for anymore!! Deborah was an absolute joy to be with, so relaxed but happy to guide you along the way!! Thank you Deborah.. I think we will be back!! ; )

Really lovely afternoon spent making beautiful vases from scratch with Deborah on my friend's hen do. She was so welcoming and helpful and the cakes were delicious too! Meeting her dog was an extra bonus! I have also just brought my mum a birthday present from her online shop! Xx

Fabulous workshop.Purchased this for my sister for her birthday and we had a great fun afternoon learning about clay and attempting to throw pots. By the end of the session we had 3 pots each to choose from.We picked the best and also picked out a colour glaze we wanted. Then we had to wait for Deborah to finish the process and send our pots to us.It was worth the wait. Over the moon with my pot.Thank you Deborah for a memorable day.

My husband and I were gifted a pottery workshop with Deborah and what a wonderful fun time we had. Beautiful studio with excellent tuition, guidance and support throughout and Deborah was so kind and welcoming. Small groups so really hands on 1-1 tutoring. We will be going again, it was fabulous.

Had a wonderful experience with The Thoughtful Potter! Debs gave an excellent demonstration showing us how to use the pottery wheel and let us make the most of our time during the session, whilst remaining with us to provide help and guidance as we needed it. Overall it was thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
