Children's Social Care

The three stars are for social care practitioners who care but are employed within an institution that does not.Historically Peterborough Unitary Authority has failed citizens within the framework of SAFER Peterborough Network. Social Care practitioners are line-managed. Departments protect themselves in case situations become legally complicated. When those who are let down by 'Services' become vocal barriers go up. Some of those employed by the 'Executive' allude 'scritiny' as they are 'Consultants' and not 'in post'. Being a 'locum' or 'consultant' is COP OUT. Heads roll not at the top but on the front line. Most Social 'CARE' Practitioners train because they CARE. The protocol is to protect SERVICES at all costs and avoid being held to account. If all goes wrong and an inquiry into 'failings' is undertaken there is no unbiased outcome. The 'chair' that scrutinises is beyond reprouch Executives protect themselves. The LOSERS are vulnerable children in the Community and Social Care Practitoners who CARE.

Haven’t helped us at all. Horrendous service in Peterborough that are supposed to help parents/children

I had my ex partner make false allegations against myself and 2 his two children.So I had a lady who came out which was absolutely lovely (no names mentioned) she totally understood what had happened and I showed her proof from messages that this allegation was false! And she was on my side from day 1! dealt with it in a perfect manner and she was lovely to my two boys.No bad experience here, it’s actually made me want to become a social worker how they work and experience different environments etc...But the lady was absolutely lovely and friendly throughout! They have to just do there job and make sure the children are safe at home, so I showed her my children were absolutely perfect!They don’t have concerns if they no the children are living in a good environment with healthy parents and there everyday needs are met with loving parents!

They also lie so much they don't need to tell the truth cause they steal baby's by lying I was told I had a better chance of keeping my second baby than i did with my first just because i told them i wanted a abortion with my second son cause i knew it would destroy me having 2 baby's stolen from me they told the judge in court they never said any such thing if I lied in court like they did I would have been arrested but they get handed a baby for lying on court my head is screwed up now cause I'm desperate to be a mother I'm terrified to ask them if I can have another baby or if they will steal it like the first two iv had stolen from me I have no clue if I should get my tubes tied or not I can't ask them cause they will most likely lie FACT THEY TAKE KIDS FROM THE INNOCENT BUT THEY LET THE CHILD BEATERS AND BAD PARENTS KEEP THEIRS MY EX GAVIN FED HIS 8 MONTH OLD NEPHEW HALF A PINT OF CARLING JUST TO WATCH AND LAUGH AT THE SOUR LEMON LOOK ON THE BABYS FACE EVERY TIME THE BABY TOOK A SIP OF THE BOOZE AND THE MOTHER SAT THERE AND LET IT CARRY ON FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES IN OCTOBER 2014 AND IN 2010 HE BEAT HIS 10 YEAR OLD SON TO THE POINT THAT HIS SON COULD STAND THERE AND BE PUNCHED IN THE STOMACH FULL PELT BY A MALE ADULT WITHOUT THE KID FLINCHING THE FAMILY OF THE CHILD BEATER TOLD SOCIAL SERVICES IT NEVER HAPPENED AND TOLD ME IT WAS TO TOUGHEN THE KID UP AND TEACH THE KID TO DEFEND HIMSELF SOCIAL SERVICES HAVE NO CLUE IF YOU TELL THEM THE TRUTH THAT YOUR INNOCENT THEY DONT BELIEVE YOU BUT IF YOUR GUILTY AND YOU TELL THEM THAT YOUR INNOCENT THEY BELIEVE YOU IN OTHER WORDS THE GUILTY GET TO CARRY ON HARMING THE KIDS WHILST THE INNOCENT GET THEIR KIDS TAKEN OFF OF THEM ITS DISGUSTING ITS WRONG ITS SICK ITS NOT RIGHT ITS NOT FAIR AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT

Tell you they will keep in contact regarding me and my partner taking a vulnerable person into our home but because said person now has a roof over her head they totally ignore the situation. Absolutely appalling

Social services are out of order. They took my daughter and grandson away soon as he was born and sent them to Lester for no reason just because she had a past absolute walkers the lot of them

They lie, let ignore you and they put ur child with the wrong people. Rude on the phone, absolutely poor. Wouldnt let social services in charge of a hamster. Let alone a childs needs.

I had a terrible experience with Peterborough children's social services.They lie, they twist things and what made it even worse for me was that they work as a team to cover for each other. This includes the guardian, the health visitor and mental health services.I will never get over the stress and anxiety over what they did to my family and truly hope that someday forced adoption is stopped.Until I’d experienced it first hand, I had no idea of the depths that these people would go to. Those very people who are supposed to help a family will try to divide, conquer, and lie just to ultimately tear a family apart. I have no idea how these social workers sleep at night.I hope someday my children find me and I can show them every document that proves the lies that they told. This is the only thing that keeps me going.

Absolutely useless, doing nothing at all, telling pack of lies and absorbing governments money instead of giving help where needed. Should be dissolved. Why to waste public money for such a service ? Called 4times- zero actions

I heard the horror stories but little did i know just how true they are! We asked for help but instead made criminals. Please, please, do not use, expect help or any contact with these people. Please be warned they are probably some of the worst people we have ever met! Don't trust them. Please.
