Wellness with Sally
Everything about the retreat with Sally was special from start to finish. I had been on day retreats with Sally and love her Shake the Dust practice and how she planned those days and knew I’d feel very comfortable with her leading a weekend retreat.This isn’t a classic yoga weekend, you’ll find yourself opening up, moving your body, sharing and leaving behind some worries and long held beliefs. This was a spiritual experience that left me feeling open and cleansed. You will chant, share cacao and dance like nobody is watching!The setting was beautiful and the food exceptional - cooked with love by private vegan chef Jenny.At the end of the weekend I felt light, liberated and joyful. I feel lucky to have made some new friends, some of us have met up since and will always have the bond of sharing a magical weekend together.

Fabulous retreat in the most beautiful location. Sally’s classes and workshops always leave me feeling uplifted and with a sense of peace so to immerse myself in a weekend of practice with her and other like minded ladies was absolute heaven! Hugely recommend Sally’s retreats if you’re looking for peace, inner calm, friendship and amazing food ❤️

I chose to book onto Sally's course so that I could use the 8 week block of classes as an anchor point, at a time when every aspect of my life was providing me with challenge and uncertainty. What I gained from doing so was well beyond my expectations. I have attended many yoga classes in the past; Vinyasa, Iyenga, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Yin. All of which provided me with insight and growth, but nothing on the scale of what I gained from my classes with Sally.Sally is clearly a well educated therapeutic practitioner who invests a lot of herself into understanding and practicing techniques that are good for the body, mind and soul to heal. Every single week I came out of the class feeling like I had reconnected to my own body and inner knowing. I realigned with my true self, which led to an improvement in my decision making, my authenticity outside of the yoga space, and feeling confident and assertive in ways that have felt new to me.Before I started the course, I felt as though I was swimming in stormy waters of uncertainty, just well enough to keep my lips to the surface for air. It was as though Sally came along with a terrific boat, told me to pull myself on to it, and taught me how to sail back to my inner knowing.Sally uses techniques I have never experienced before but I could sense how much my body loved them, especially the heal tapping. There were plentiful opportunities to listen to your body and move freely, something that I resisted initially but quickly came to love.Sally incorporates the seasons, the moon, hindu god mantras, song, and much more to help us counteract the habitual behaviours and mental cycles we find ourselves stuck in. This class was one of the most liberating and important experiences of my life, and I will be back again.

Without a doubt one of the best decisions I ever made was to come to one of Sally's classes. Sally offers a safe space, free from all judgement and so welcoming. I can honestly say that Sally's teachings have changed my life both physically and mentally, and I am so grateful. I cannot recommend working with Sally enough, she is a beautiful soul and a knowledgeable teacher xxx

Wellness with Sally
Sally is warm and welcoming and her classes are inclusive and non judgemental as well as varied and fun. She is encouraging and intuitive in her approach and there is always something for everyone in class. The space at Riverside is perfect for yoga classes and I've really felt the benefits of stretches, breathwork and learning to meditate on both my physical and mental wellbeing. I feel stronger and more flexible than before and at the end of a class feel both energised yet calm. I have the best night of sleep of the week after yoga on Mondays!I love the soundtracks that accompany and inspire our practice, too.Would highly recommend - it's been the best thing I've done for myself this year.

Wellness with Sally
I would highly recommend Sally for all things wellness related. Her yoga sessions are wonderful. Sally is very soothing and calm throughout the sessions, making you feel relaxed and at ease at all times. She always provides an alternative to all postures so that you can get the most out of the session and feel relaxed at all times.Being able to continue with Yoga throughout the pandemic has been a massive help to keeping some normality and keeping calm throughout the uncertainty. Despite the change from in person sessions to online sessions, Sally has done everything she can to support me in my practice. Sally’s sessions have allowed me to find time to focus on myself and improve my self-care.

Wellness with Sally
Ive been going to Sallys classes for about a year now and still get the same enjoyment and therapy from going each week.As someone who struggles with their joints/muscles/movement for medical reasons Sally always gives adaptions or options if I can’t quite manage certain things without being judgemental and also makes you feel inclusive.Even my consultant is encouraged to see the range of movement I’ve managed to maintain through certain flare ups.Apart from the physical side it helps mentally - giving you space for you to just “be” and breathe/relax and make time for yourself.Will always recommend Sallys classes as a safe space to come to and practice x

Wellness with Sally
Sally is such a passionate and knowledgable teacher and brings something different to her yoga classes. She has expansive knowledge across many different disciplines which I find fascinating. I always come away having learnt something new.I have attended some workshops and started to more regularly attend her evening class at Riverside Wellbeing in Whaley Bridge.The space is always so pretty, welcoming and smells beautiful.It’s lovely to feel transcended to a different dimension, in a good way :-)

Wellness with Sally
I've done numerous classes and workshops of Sally's, both her yoga classes for the past few years and more recently her shake the dust classes. She is a very empowering, thoughtful, calm and fun teacher. She has the ability to adapt a class to suit the energy in the room and takes a very personalised approach...I always come away from a class feeling like it delivered what I needed and more! Shake the Dust always puts a smile on my face, whether its online or in person, and makes me feel like I've shaken out my body and my mind! Her workshops give the opportunity to really switch off and feel like you've invested some proper time to yourself. Thanks Sally!
