Ordered a bs300e pedal wheel kit on the 22nd Feb. Have invoice and nothing else. Then have a notification from robert sorby?Never ordered from them in the first place!Very bad service and communication.Last time I will be ordering anything from them in the future.UPDATE: 2-3-2023Had a lovely phone call from Turners Retreat, sincere call and all is put right.I have now amended my star rating to five stars for their call back from customer services.Will done.

As for their products I can't say anything, I've always had a good experience, but recently I've had some problems, I didn't depend on them, I sent many emails to ask for clarification, but never without receiving a response. I will continue to purchase from them, but the lack of communication with customers who are the heart of a company, and lack of responsibility towards the customer, the customer is not just a number

Purchased 2 lengths of 3x3x24 oak which arrived with significant splits in them which could of resulted in a serious injury while turning the blanks. Informed company who said we get it collected and we'll refund you this was 2 weeks ago so I emailed them only to get a response today saying they are shakes and its too be expected we will give you a 30% refund these are not shakes they are splits

Really nice shop. Has everything you need as a woodturner. Only slight criticism is that you only ever see a member of staff when they want you money.

Had a great day with the tool sharpening coarse in the morning and the bandsaw maintenance in the afternoon. The instructions was spot on and learned where I was going wrong.

Always worth a visit.The purpose of my visit today was to watch the live Pyography Demonstration's.I learnt a lot from the very helpful young lady's who took the time to share there expert tips and advise.Also pen turning by Tony and wood turning by Kate .Managed to spend 3 hours at the shop watching the demonstrators and found a few treasure's to spend my money on in the shop.
