We've been here many times both for food and drinks, also the occasional celebration. Staff always friendly and attentive. Great wee pub.

Lovely hot food. Good menu choices. Had the chicken and pepper sauce and it was perfectly cooked. The chicken was succulent and tender, and the sauce wasn't too peppery and nice and creamy. The toffee apple pie was delicious too, not too sweet. Would recommend and return here.

everything was fine and service was fast and polite, but the confederate flag is absolutely disgusting and i can’t believe it’s being shown in this dayand age. staff were defending it and the attitude towards it was vile. will not be coming back.

Had a family lunch here a couple of weeks ago. We all enjoyed our meals and the girl who served us was attentive & really friendly. Will definitely eat here again!

Would highly recommend. Took my mum and gran for some food and can't rate it enough. Homemade lasagne, even offered a smaller portion for my grandmother who can't eat too much and they made no fuss about it which really was wonderful. Lovely blonde lassie" as my grandmother kept saying who looked after us and great fella too. Very friendly and family type vibe.Good food

i was so shocked when i saw the small confederate flag on the wall. i asked the bar staff about it and was immediately told that it is memorabilia and not relevant in scotland. to them i ask, why show a racist, pro-slavery flag? obviously it is an american symbol but slavery was used in glasgow too, we have racists here too. after asking why it was up, i was immediately banned. appalled. absolutely disgusting and could not be more ashamed to see this kind of hate in scotland.

We had a lovely Christmas lunch at the Viking, food was excellent & the staff were pleasant. Will definitely be back & I would definitely recommend
