Threads of Minehead are just amazing, I turned up 15 minutes past closing time and was welcomed in even though they had just closed and had fantastic friendly service and help with my sewing machine and advice on what I needed to buy to get me started. Really impressed and appreciated the time and effort put in to help me. Thank you threads!

Lovely well stocked shop. Very nice young girl at till and a credit to the shop. However, the gentleman was not really friendly or welcoming to us or other customers.Despite this, the prices were good and fabulous variety of good quality wool. It hasn't put me off coming back. But please sir, try and be a tad more cheery.

I gave him a three because it's such a small tiny little place but the people of very nice like the staff it's a shame it's not a little bit bigger a bit more room but I think I could get along with it considering what it is where it is and what they've done to it now all I can say just keep going you're doing well with what you've got

A lovely shop that we only get to visit in person a couple of times a year when we are in the area.They have a big selection of fabrics, yarns and accessories to browse through and a very well informed staff on hand to help with any queries.They also run crafting workshops out of the craft room at the back of the shop if you are looking to try new things.Well worth a visit if you are in the area or you can buy through their website too.

Lovely looking shop, mixed service.The lady who served me was lovely, very friendly and bent over backwards to help by finding what I needed out the back. Unfortunately when I got my purchases home I had been given the wrong thing so had to go back the next day for an exchange. The same lady was there, very apologetic, and found what I needed.However, the other lady serving (more senior maybe?) seemed quite put out, made sure the wool I had been sold wasn’t cheaper than the wool I was now taking, and in actual fact charged me 30p more for the exchanged needles, despite the fact that I’d had to do over an hour’s journey to make the exchange, which would have cost at least £5 in fuel! If 30p in the till is more important than customer goodwill then I guess I must have the wrong idea about customer service.

Had e-mailed the shop with a query regarding bridal ribbon. Jackie came back to me very quickly. I visited the shop today purchased not only the bridal ribbon but other items. Fantastic shop. Thank you.
