West Lothian College

Thank you so much to everyone at West Lothian College for offering me a place and helping me to gain the knowledge and experience needed to succeed in my course. My time at the college was truly the best year of my life, as I felt like I was part of a family and at home there.The teachers and staff were incredibly supportive, and I even had counselling sessions that changed my life for the better. They were all so professional and skilled in their teaching methods, which helped to boost my skills and confidence in preparing for my future.I would highly recommend West Lothian College to any students looking for a great learning environment. Once again, thank you to Martin, Lynda, Kirstin, Suzanne, Anna, and all the staff for being the best teachers I've had in my educational journey. The staff is really kind and helpfull. If you don't know something that are willing to help and discuss the possibilities. The course ranges are very good and a wide range of opportunities.

Easy to find did not go in just dropping of someone but looks really big

It's a shame that you have to give a star rating because this place most definitely doesn't deserve one! This place is an absolute shambles. I was bullied by my lecturer for months on end, he didn't read any of my assessments, questioned my mental ability to do the course and even refused to write a reference for my uni application because he felt I wasn't able to do it. No point in complaining and taking it further because its all old pals act and NOTHING gets done and no one listens or gives one iota! I learned that several people before myself had been bullied by this same lecturer and never complained or took the matter further and I have since found out that there are still students who are experiencing this even after I have complained. I took this issue right up to the ombudsman who did sod all and this man is still a lecturer at college. It's a joke and I would never recommend this college to anyone. Lecturers don't treat you like adults and feel they can bully and patronise you on a regular basis.

Visited this college as my neice learning to cut hair and went a few times to practice on.nice area for kids to learn new skills.just like being at the hairdressers.

Big up rab my girl love class(do mechanics to find out who my girl rab is) way better than highschool just an amazing place

Went here on an evening course and thoroughly enjoyed it! Facilities were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere wasn't too intense either. The focus was on not only learning, but applying what we had learned. I learned and retained a lot more than I expected to when I booked my course, and that's all down to the attitude of my lecturer. Thank you!!

This is an awful college because many of staff don't know to compare my England certificates with SQA or any Scottish qualifications. They tried to put me on lower level course. Actually I have AS Level which is adequate to sit HND course in Scotland but the staff turned me down because they did not understand my qualifications. I am not going to do any fulltime course with them. I prefer to continue my England qualifications by distant learning.
