Always make a special visit to buy what I need at great prices, my wife needed some cotton and found a complete little sawing kit for just over a £1 . She was delighted

If I could give this shop 0 stars I would, visited this shop for the first time as I didn’t have time to pick up what I needed in Broadmead however I patiently waited in the Cue to be served and also observing my surroundings and cashier one of my jobs being a secret shopper, the place is decent but quite pricey but not surprised being where it’s located. I noticed 3 empty tills with only one cashier she was polite friendly and very chatty with all the customers even offering them the perfumes on display for discount of the price, BUT THIS WOMAN WAS NOT AS FRIENDLY with me her energy switched I felt the tension from her the way she was being passive rude about me wanting a carrier bag, the look she gave my bag i know it’s on the pricey side, her jealousy and racism was visible and obvious she didn’t even wait for me to take my receipt she threw it in my bag which I thought was so rude. They say Bristol is a diverse city is s joke I’ve been up and down the Gloucester Road all my life since the early 90s when I was able to born and bread in Bristol I know for fact this woman hasn’t been here that long and I’m being treated like the out sider lol she probably doesn’t even know that the shop use to be peacocks!!! However enough of that I’m glad I don’t have to deal with the level of racism there is is this city anymore I live in a place where I see BLACKS WHITES every culture working everywhere avoid this overly expensive shop for know reason where there’s fake staff and also racist as. A B L A C K woman I mean I did look better than her so……

Clean, easy to navigate and stock layout on shelves flows and neat and well stocked. Good prices. Will visit again. This time item wanting out of stock and staff have no idea when to expect.
