Well kept small railway station. Clean and with nice cafe and ticket office. Parking only issue. Not sure how easy this is to solve with the space available.

Very tastefully done-up, clean railway station serving the pretty little town of Downham Market. I particularly like the Network South East theming to it, applied so well that it creates the feeling and impression that there's still the pre-privatisation era here to this day! Sadly, this isn't the case with Great Northern (part of Govia Thameslink) providing the hourly services towards King's Lynn and London King's Cross.Shame about the massive flour mill blotting the landscape. Oh, and this station could additionally do with a footbridge. However, this isn't enough to out-weigh the experience of being here!

I have tried to buy a senior railcard four times during periods that were supposed to be staffed. The ticket office was closed on all 4 attempts. Is it worth trying again? I doubt it. No phone number available to check on staffing either.

I like that station after having experience of last couple of stations without facilities. Lovely station very well kept. Clean n tidy n good service to Kings Lynn or London King Cross.

Downham Market
Downham Market is a lovely, clean and friendly town which offers more than you need. Good Pubs and lots of other excellent restuarants to choose from. Close to big shopping centres for days out AND on a direct line to London.What more do you want, other than good company, wich is your own responsibility.
