We chose QCR initially because of their location as they are only 20 miles away. We have found since however that they are an excellent company to deal with as they are very user friendly. The baler has been a fantastic addition to the business. It can handle all of our main waste types with no problems and every bale has been of excellent quality. New customers are coming on board because of the baler - we are delighted with it. We have found the maintenance team very quick to respond and efficient in getting any problems resolved. I don’t want it to sound like we have had many issues….because we haven’t.Average bale weight for cardboard is between 750kg – 950kg (QCR 700HZ). We’ve increased our recycling rates, increased revenue and customers love to know their waste is recycled.

We are now a month or so in with using our bailor and couldn't be happier, this equipment has entitled us to be more self efficient along with knowing we are recycling all our plastic and cardboard waste. I cannot credit Mike Shutt enough for how helpful he has been from the installation stage right through to arranging our collections with a local recycling company. Couldn't recommend enough.

Purchased a small Baler from QCR and managed to cut down our waste disposal costs by 35% annually. They promised to find an outlet for my recycled cardboard and plastic, they did not. When prices are up they will be fine but when they drop you may be left with a lot of recycled products that you will have to pay more to get rid of. A recycling bin is easier and less complicated than these. Read their contracts very carefully they are not easy to get out of early if things aren't as you expected.

Margiotta Food and WineWith a growing business, Margiotta needed to look for a more efficient way of dealing with our business waste. QCR provided us with a flexible solution which allowed us to reduce the number of bins we had, and now we can earn rebates on our waste! It’s working really well for us.We started off renting a Bin Press, then an H3 baler for cardboard in our main warehouse. We duplicated this in our main city shop / catering facility. After only 5 months we swapped out the H3 baler at the main warehouse and upgraded to a much larger mill size baler. All facilitated and made very simple by Tony and the QCR team. I first came across QCR at the Kent Show. I met Pete who clearly outlined the various pieces of equipment we could use in our workplace.We have since decided to take on the cardboard shredder. We use the shredded card within our online sales orders for void filler. This has meant we are not only reducing our waste (by reusing it), we are saving money by not using as many recycling bins.We also trialed a baler which was fantastic!Thanks to Pete and the rest of QCR, glad to be working with you :)

Be aware!!! Read the contact carefully or to be safe, just dont sign with them.Danny who is the sales man visited us and promised a lot. 70% of this was not true.We have lost a lot of money on underweight bales due to different size bailer delivered than was spoken about.Also the smaller bailer was not adjusted properly. They are very good in taking your money but this is where its ends.
