This is a first rate award winning practice. Dr Chris Leech is an excellent communicator, and highly trained and skilled dental surgeon: he has rebuilt several of my front teeth so that they are strong again. They look much better into the bargain. We are lucky to have this practice in Bishops Waltham.

Dentist practice cancels appointments without notification. My partner took our daughter out of nursery to attend the practice to find the appointment was cancelled. Despite claims they emailed and phoned there were no voicemails, missed calls or emails received. Very dismissive at the front desk towards my partner and a further email from the practice manager simply reiterated the blatant fibs told by the front desks.Not impressed and will be moving a better practice.

Since we registered with the practice, we have been very well looked after. From the reception team, nurses, dentists and therapists.Leigh recently treated a tooth which had an old filling and crack in it, which was a bit tricky and I was dreading it.I was very nervous but Leigh was so calm and patient with me and the treatment was successful, he saved my tooth!Thank you Leigh and team.

Friendly, explain everything well, and importantly great dental treatment. Good access for appointments (i joined when i couldn’t see my previous dentist during Covid). Inspire confidence with their knowledge and professionalism.

I had lots of very unpleasant memories of dentistry from a young age when dentists were paid per filling, many without local. I also had many years of braces and my teeth were not aligned very well.I went to Luke Hutchings after a recent Cerec crown broke. I assumed he would replace with another crown, but found many other issues which would have caused excess pressure on that crown to break so soon. Other dentists did not consider this.Instead of one replacement crown, I ended up with front teeth being built up with composite to help correct my bite with a guard to protect these as I had ground my own down. Two replacement crowns as others had cracked or broken plus some vigorous hygiene work from Claire.At the age of 60, I have teeth that I am very happy with for the first time. I can bite into apples, which I haven't been able to do for decades.As for discomfort, that was negligible. The injections were pain free and all treatment was painless. Luke explained very clearly what he needed to do and why and had a systematic approach throughout. He's a very down to earth, chatty (although it's not easy to reply with a mouthful of fingers, tubes and metal.)All in all, a life transforming procedure and Luke is very highly recommended indeed. And that's coming from someone with a fear of dentists. Thank you so much Luke, also his assistants and the great, efficient receptionists.

I’d been with the same dentist for 20 years and thought him really good because I hardly ever needed much more than the occasional filling. But when he retired 3 years ago, a friend recommended me to Clear Dentistry – thank goodness she did. Using the latest diagnostic equipment, including high magnification photography, Dr Chris Leech identified and explained numerous problems with my teeth including several with multiple cracks and a totally uneven bite due to extractions 40 years ago which hadn’t been properly managed. I was shocked that my previous dentist hadn’t flagged any of these issues up to me – but the photographs didn’t lie, and I can only assume that my previous dentist didn’t have the best modern equipment so couldn’t do the best assessment. I’m literally terrified of dentists, but Dr Chris Leech came up with a dental plan to “rescue” my teeth and despite the fact I clearly needed some major work, I never felt under any pressure to agree to any of it. In fact, I felt totally supported and looked after. From dentists and their assistants to hygienists and reception staff, I couldn’t have met a more professional, efficient and welcoming group of people whose only interest was giving me the best possible care. I can’t say I’ll ever look forward to a trip to the dentist, but I can honestly say that Dr Chris Leech and his team made sure that I never experienced any pain and I’m definitely not as scared as I used to be. So, thank you Clear Dentistry – without you, I’d have gone along in blissful ignorance of my dental problems and probably lost most of my teeth in the next few years. No wonder you win so many private dentistry awards year after year – you certainly deserve them.Footnote - Having just had root canal treatment, the Clear Dentistry team - this time Dentist Dr Luke Hutchings, Dental Nurse Jess and anaesthetist Roy – was yet again skilled, re-assuring and caring, making the whole procedure smooth and pain free. I had an amazing experience as a dental student shadowing Dr Chris and his colleagues. They made the whole day very insightful, answering all my questions. Can't say enough good things about Clear Dentistry. I went this year having lost my NHS dentist in Covid... turns out it was the best thing that could have happened. Dr Chris Leech is fantastic and has worked wonders for me, largely rectifying previous work that had been done badly. The whole experience is as pain free as a dentist is going to get!
