ALDI

Not a bad store, shelves well packed and good value for money. The only down side was, too many people, however it was 12 days before Christmas so to be expected. Happily shop here again.

This is an excellent store, and the recent introduction of self scanners is a winner , because you do not have to take your place behind a hotelier catering for the week. However , some attention is due to staff assistance at the new self service checkouts. Either there is a man barking unwelcome instructions, which are offputting , or nobody handy at all. I needed to have the tag removed from a bottle of spirits, and searched in vain for assistance . When I eventually encountered a member of staff ( he was plainly overstretched , and was a very nice man , as it turned out, ) , I was unable to secure his attention, despite directly facing him, because he was engaged in a lengthy conversation, via his earpiece , with a colleague elsewhere in the store. I was obviously totally unvisible , for some time . Rather an odd experience .I like this store,and its nice staff, but some fine tuning would not go amiss.

I don't shop here regularly, l go for the chocolate it very tasty. They do have a lot of choice it is just too far for me to make it a convenient trip

Aldi hasn't been the same since they built the new store! Had to search through alot of the fruit and veg to get the freshest,majority had a day on it! Same with alot of the meat too. There middle aisle stuff seems to stay alot longer than previously and they are forever closing tills even with queues then reopening it a few minutes later! Prices are no longer that much cheaper compared to your other supermarkets. Store is clean and tidy and staff are approachable.

One of the best Aldi's wide isles and closed door refrigerators. Good fresh produce. Everything at reasonable prices. Quick self checkout is also available.

Worst shopping experience ever. I am 40, driving BM. No other shops’staff challenge me! Aldi staff challenges me 25 because of a bottle £3 fruit wine. This is totally taking piss especially after showed my all eID to proof my age. If I am buying bottle of whisky fair enough. For bottle of £3 fruit wine plus all photocopy ID on my phone, still refused. That’s ridiculous!

Always a great deal to be had. Staff normally very happy and friendly. Do the weekly shop here and always costs less than other supermarkets even with the price increase we're seeing at the moment.

always fantastic, must admit though I do feel it's not as cheap compared to others than it used to be !
