The Social Table

I used Social Table for a recent corporate event. Rob (the chef on the day) arrived nice an early and cracked on with laying the table beautifully. Food was delicious, from the mains, various salads, dessert and drinks - everything tasted fresh and looked visually appealing. The food was really well received by all with many going back for seconds and thirds! Richard was easy to communicate with and responded to queries quickly. I would absolutely recommend the Social Table and look forward to using them again for future events.

Richard and his wonderful team did a fantastic job providing the catering for my 50th party. Richard designed the perfect menu and the food was really delicious. I had so many compliments about it from my guests. The waiting staff were amazing, so helpful, knowledgeable and helped manage the event, which was exactly what I needed to help everything run smoothly. Highly recommend Richard and his team!

Thank you for catering for the Wake following my dad’s funeral. Seamlessly run by attentive staff, serving outstanding finger buffet food. Excellent sandwiches and twist on sausage rolls. Chicken wraps and scotch eggs both commented about enthusiastically and lemon posset cups a stand out.Many thanks.

I can't recommend Richard highly enough. Such a high end, professional service from start to finish. Incredible attention to detail on everything from the table settings to the quality of the tableware. Everything was of the highest quality and created a stunning aesthetic. And then there was the food! OMG! 11/10 from every guest at our celebratory lunch for 25 people. It was absolutely delicious, perfectly portioned and beautifully presented. I don't have enough superlatives to say how good the food and service was by Richard and his team. He catered for 75 at our wedding in our garden and provided the waiting staff. The food was the best wedding food we had ever tasted and a number of people said the same. Everything thought the food was fantastic and there was very little wasted which bore this out.From the first discussion with Richard, through the tasting session which was amazing to the actual wedding, we couldn't fault the attention to detail. The staff were so attentive, friendly and really wanted us to have a good time. One member of staff stayed until the end and later than planned to help tidy up.I wouldn't hesitate in choosing Richard again.

Richard and his team did a phenomenal job catering our summer garden party. Despite the weather, they smiled and greeted our guests with champagne and nibbles. They were attentive thought the 6 hour party and the food was exceptional. Everyone raved about the sliders and the salads. Even weeks later we are still getting compliments on the food. We will definitely be hiring Richard again for future parties! Thank you so much for making the day so special.

Where to start? The menu provided by the Social Table turned cliched wedding catering on its head, we had an absolutely incredible sharing feast, the echoed something you would get at Ottolenghi. Our guess would not stop complimenting and taking photos of the food, the spread was delicious and beautiful. Our brief to Richard was that we wanted something that felt like the relaxed, luxury, informal, but brilliant. He totally ran with our brief, creating a sharing feast that without sounding competitive, meant our wedding food, trumped anything I’ve ever seen a wedding before. People are still talking to us about it now.Our tasting at Social Table towers was an unexpectedly gorgeous day ahead of the celebrations. The small team are wonderfully warm and it really felt like dealing with humans rather than the cogs of a big business. The on the day team also superb, kind , professional individuals who echoed the quality of everything else is Social Table provided.We had several guests with dietary requirements, and Richard‘s menu, accommodated them in a way that felt seamless, and not as though they’ve been singled out. The menu catered for everyone.Richard attitude was such a clean simple, he was in bed and making the day brilliant. I’ve kind level reasonable man who went above and beyond to make our day a success. Would recommend to anyone and everyone wanting catering for any kind of event. I think we should be watching this space for what the Social Table becomes.

My wife Joanne and I hired Richard and his team for our Golden Wedding Anniversary lunch. All of the food was absolutely exquisite - beautifully prepared and presented and very tasty. The service provided was second to none - the Social Table team even took over setting out the tables & chairs for over 50 guests and then cleared the whole hall at the end of the event!
