Couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience! I booked a solo hike up Ben Venue with transport from the Glasgow vicinity. Tom was responsive and friendly when fielding my questions on email, and there was zero drama from beginning to end. Throughout our day adventure, he made it clear that his goal was to ensure top-notch customer service, from setting the pace of the hike as suited my preference to treating me with delicious local strawberries at the summit. His love of the outdoors is infectious, and his expertise and concern for safety was readily apparent. Highly recommended -- I am looking forward to my next opportunity to return to Scotland to come back for more!

As someone with various health concerns i thought climbing was going to be near impossible for me. Tom however was accomodating, knowledgeable, patient and engaging.In the two days me and my partner spent on the intro to climbing course we learnt more than we thought possible and Toms passion and expertise made a previously daunting experience exciting and accessible. 10/10 service. Tom helped me organise a cliff camping day as a gift to my partner on his birthday. Thankfully the Scottish weather was great in Loch Lomond and we had a very special day. Tom was a fantastic guide, had great knowledge and we walked away feeling like we had a truly unique experience. Not being the outdoorsy type myself, I was a bit apprehensive but Tom found a way to ensure both me and my partner felt comfortable and engaged. Small details made our Crux experience what it was; from the location, the lovely meal in the evening, high-end equipment and hearing about this magical area from a local. Highly recommend!!!

I went to Scotland to visit my daughter and as a surprise she booked cliff camping. That was a truly unique experience. The weather was very kind to us so we got to enjoy the views with a lovely clear sky. After camping, we spend some time in Aberfoyle and surroundings, which we really enjoyed too. I didn’t even know what cliff camping was before this experience, I’m so glad I did it.

I’m usually not a fan of adrenaline-inducing experiences, but I decided to try cliff climbing as you can only do it here in Scotland. I ended up on Crux Outdoors website and got in touch Tom. Communication was amazing from the beginning: easy to organise it and ask questions. Cliff camping was super fun, even for someone as inexperienced as me. Tom is the best at making you feel comfortable and completely safe. We got the chance to enjoy some incredible Scottish views while having a lovely home cooked meal and some wine. Amazing! Such a special experience, I will remember it forever
