Shockingly bad companyThis company were appointed as loss adjusters and agents by Admiral to deal with our household insurance claim .Their communication is disgraceful , they make promises to return calls and never do , you cannot get one point of contact and always get a different person who is not up to speed with the claim , and who promise you the earth , I’m afraid to say that this company do not care about their clients and should be embarrassed about how often their staff lie to customers .My claim has been ongoing for 5 months now and I have made various complaints to Admiral about them , my complaints have all been upheld and I have been offered compensation which I have refused due to it being derisory .I will never use Admiral again for insurance , or any other company that appoints Sedgwick as their loss adjuster .

I was put on to Sedgwick through Zurich to deal with a loss of earnings claim and have to say I was seriously disappointed by the lack of correspondence, replies took up to four weeks for simple questions, no answer from the main reception desk. Surely in an industry that deals with customers who are going through a stressful situation, the simple act of replying to a query is the least you can ask.

An absolute disgraceful company to deal with, our claim for water damage is heartbreaking cannot get in touch with them unless you are prepared to be on the phone for an hour only to be lyed to. They do not respond to emails, denie they have received emails, only when I made an official complaint to Aviva did things get actioned as I say heartbreaking

Insured with Admiral who have appointed Sedgwick to carry out the repairs.Their service has to be the worst l have ever experienced. 14 weeks after incident and still awaiting a repair confirmation l have had to do all the chasing as they never come back to you. Would never recommend this company absolute shower

Used this company through Barcleys home insurance had days of running around gathering evidence,calling cctv,police and chasing them lost 6k in bags from a locked vehicle to be told there was nothing that could be done as the policy wording said has to be either glove box or centre console .(Secure locked compartment) boot doesn't count if only has a load blind so if you have a 4x4 or estate nothings covered and they will use the words save the client cash and make you do a long song and dance till they can find a loop hole.There interrogation is appauling when your already struggling with losses way above your insured amount.Avoid and ask your insurer to use another evaluater as you won't get what you actually deserve.

Not surprised at all by the very poor ratings seen here. My vehicle was hit and damaged by an Enterprise rental van insured by Sedgwick. The driver drove off without leaving a note. A witness left a note with time/date of incident, vehicle description and registration number and description of driver. I also obtained a police crime reference number. I emailed all the evidence to Sedgwick and spent many months calling them for updates, every time just to be told they were investigating it". Not once did I ever receive a call or email from Sedgwick. I was getting nowhere so got lawyers involved and all of sudden Sedgwick were now denying it. My claim eventually went to the Motor Insurers' Bureau and thankfully I got my money back

Spent over 10 hours on the phone when you add all the calls including wait time together. Still haven't received my claim reimbursement despite the fact that the company assured me i would get it and i didn't need to provide anymore details or evidence. Horrendous company, do not waste your time with them.

My rented property has suffered from a leak and the sedgewick are appointed. After 3 months of delay and incompetent behaviour they decide to abandon the repairs and leave me and the tenant hanging. Thank you Scott Anderson, a very unhelpful and in my opinion totally inexperienced claims handler who is only interested in showing that he's the boss and spends much of his time arguing over immaterial costs of material and tile grout. This is now going to end up in the courts thanks to the worst loss adjustor on planet earth, please avoid at all costs
