Aztec Gym and Studio

The Aztec is a great place in general, not just the gym. The gym has all the facilities you need to train, the pool is amazing which has a sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. There are also extra treatments you can have, hot stones, beauty, fire and ice, and there's also a water garden. I love to train, swim, then have some food in the restaurant and sometimes bring the kids. It's an amazing place....

Took the kids swimming and done the dip and dine there, fully recommend it really good value for money, pool was clean and tidy and the food was fantastic

I went and had a file and colour on my nails, friendly relaxing waiting area. And the staff were friendly too.

It’s a nice place to come and chill, have a swim. Stunning surroundings. I’ve recently just got a membership for gym and swim. And to be honest I’m a bit gutted about the gym. Equipment needs up dating, it’s very basic and out dated. No up to date weight machines, very old weights and bars, and sorry to say, a bit rusty. Only reason I chose to join is because it doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic out of season, and that suits me. But other than that, it does have everything you need to have a pleasant experience.

I had a wonderful experience. Lovely, friendly staff. I was able to stay all day if I wanted to. They had a relaxing room, with a nice coffee machine, which was free. Highly recommend the cappuccino. Would definitely go again.

pool is nice and fairly cheap. sports hall is great for a game of badminton and the table tennis tables are in decent nick.

The studio classes are really very good and the instructors all enthusiastic, communicate very clearly, take into account different levels and generally do a first rate job. Top marks there.However the studio is often dirty. Monday morning it was really quite unpleasant.The reception staff stand out by being particularly unenthusiastic. It's as if they don't want you there. Some training needed I think. Customer service these days is usually very good. This is not. No smile, they barely look you in the face, never a friendly greeting and when I asked about membership, it was as if the couldn't be bothered.
