Great pub, lovely building/decor, very friendly staff. The food is excellent, can definitely recommend the cheese platter. More than enough for 2 people and great quality.. Will be back

The Cornerhouse
Enjoyed a fun-filled Saturday night a few weeks back. A rock band was playing and delivered a good selection of tunes, enough to get everyone dancing and singing. The atmosphere was great and it was easy to mingle with others in the pub. They serve a very decent glass of wine in a style wine glass - sorry but this sort of thing appeals to me. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended and I can't wait to go back.Hopefully, I will try the food next time.

We've been coming to The Cornerhouse for years and always found it to be a welcoming place with a great range of drinks. There is a range of entertainment as well with live music each week, a decent selection of board games and the infamous weekly quiz. They have recently started doing roast dinners on a Sunday. We tried it out today and it did not disappoint! Generous portions of a home-cooked, traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings and very reasonably priced. Would absolutely recommend time and time again. Ben and the rest of the team do a fantastic job of making the Cornerhouse a home from home.

The Cornerhouse was my chosen venue for a big party. Thank you to Sophie and the team. They catered for 70 guests. The bar staff were on point when serving and the charcuterie boards were out of this world. I can't thank them all enough.

Just called in on way 2 another venue .Nice romantic atmosphere with the candles all lit grazing boards look good will call in again for food soon freindly bar staff very hip

We loved it! Beautiful black and white timbered building, equally interesting inside with exposed brickwork and more timber. Convivial atmosphere, the ever excellent (imo) Salopian Oracle, good service and plenty of punters makes for a great Friday evening early doors.

Great place to visit for a drink. Friends had their wedding reception here. Staff were lovely. The venue was beautiful and quirky. Reasonable drinks prices. Food was also amazing. The cheese and meat boards were delicious. Definitely recommend

A fabulous evening had by all! Fantastic wine and gin selection (can highly recommend the Martin Miller Gin, it was delicious), brilliant music and perfect snacks. We even got up and had a bit of a dance! Can’t wait to come back.
