Oxmarket Contemporary
I recently visited the Oxmarket gallery to preview the latest exhibition. The gallery has been refurbished and presents as being airey and well set out.The photography exhibition is varied and awesome, as are the many paintings. The ceramics and glassware were wonderful, showing passion and attention to detail.Entry is free and I look forward to visiting again to experience this artistic sanctuary of calm within the city centre.

A charity promoting all that is good aboutart. Run by Volunteers. The centre offersa great space for displays and exhibitions.I was lucky to see, and meet, a spectacularshow by the renowned local photographer,Benjamin Graham. Easy access.

The Ox market Contemporary Gallery has always been a wonderful place to visit and to admire, and possibly buy any of the works of art on display. Some of the handmade Christmas decorations are just so beautiful and would grace any persons Christmas tree. Just go and pay a visit to the the Oxmarket contemporary.

Free art gallery in a building previously used as church containing some beautiful artworks which are available for sale with display of sale price on each item. The counter staff is also highly courteous. Worth seeing even if not buying. Photography allowed.Draw corner for children also available. Look for sign board next to M&S.

Really lovely gallery with a mix of proffecional and ametur work. Right in the centre of Chichester but a bit hidden away. Behind M&S on East Street.

Free, small Gallery. Variety of art exhibitions throughout year. You can hire rooms for your own exhibition. Small shop and a toilet. No cafe but plenty nearby.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. I have not visited the Gallery since it was taken over. Excellent refurbishment but very sad to see and read that there is no plaque or mention of the great Bluestone family who were responsible for the founding of the Oxmarket. I sold at the gallery for many years and loved the atmosphere and the wonderful staff. And where is Peter Iden's painting now. History is history. Why the omission?
