I took 2 watches in for repair to this shop. 1 watch needed extensive restoration the other was a simple repair job. I took them in for a quote to be repaired. The estimates I was given on the day where ranges within hundreds of pounds and they needed to take them in to assess them to give me an exact quote. I asked them not to carry out the work on the watches until they had an exact quote for how much it was going to cost. They said this would take a couple of weeks. 1 month passed and I rang them for an update as to how much the work was going to cost. they did not know and said they would get back to me. this went on for a couple of months and eventually 7 months later I had a phone call to say the work had been done and they where ready to be collected. I had not even been given a price for the work before it had been carried out, I feel this was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Would never deal with them again.

A professionally run, small shop with excellent service. I got an obscure Seiko strap adjusted here after being recommended by Fraser Hart. Christopher had it done within half an hour for an unbeatable price.

Would give 10 stars if I could.Picked up my redesigned pearl necklace today. They did a really excellent job. I had a 2 string pearl necklace, I now have a 1 string necklace and a 2 string bracelet, with a lovely clasp. Would highly recommend them.

I love artisan shops like this, try and support wherever I can. Obviously, one has to choose who to trust on matters around horological, and I do trust this excellent small business.Great customer service.

Very poor service and workmanship. I took a watch there to have the clasp riveted. Within a month, it had worked loose and dropped out again. At £25, a rip off and robbery. I also asked for a knot in a fine gold chain to be removed and the old, white haired guy couldn't be bothered to even contemplate the job. I think he thought it beneath him. I took it around the corner to the Stratford jewellers and a very pleasant lady did the job in 5 minutes and didn't charge. Avoid the rob-dogs at Poels at all costs. Very poor attitude.

After the crown on my Rolex GMT Master II would not lock down, I was concerned about getting it fixed ASAP, while personal circumstances meant I could not wait the usual 6~8 weeks Rolex would take. So, upon recommendation by a major Stratford-Upon-Avon jeweler and watch specialist, I took it to Christopher Poel Watches & Jewellery for a 'quick as possible' repair. Melvin Poel explained what he believed needed doing, gave me a verbal rough quote and said he would confirm later the same day. In the afternoon I got a call saying all done and at an extremely modest cost indeed, which I was more than happy to pay. Melvin also changed other parts at no extra cost. The service given was honest, fast and outstanding. I was very pleased with the work done and am even more pleased to recommend this business. Thank you Melvin and Marcio for really helping me out at such short notice. Excellent..!!

It's a bit dark and cramped inside, not what I was expecting, looking at used quality watches and didn't find anything in here. Staff were nice polite and helpful.

Splendid store. Got my three beautiful and unique vintage Omega watches here, reasonably priced, honest watches and excellent friendly service.

Had excellent service here. The manufacturer of my watch told me I needed a new strap costing £500, Chris Poel watches mended the original and saved me a huge amount of money and were courteous and helpful. Thank you.
