Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Didnt know a thing about scuba diving and now with the help of Toni and her team I couldn't imagine stopping. Her confidence helped calm me down when I was panicking at the start. Couldn't recommend her enough. Cannot wait to carry on doing more courses with her!

I have done an Emergency First Response course at Purple Turtle Diving and I thoroughly enjoyed it.The instructor is knowledgeable and friendly. The classes are engaging and to the point. And I really liked that I had the chance to practise my skills. The group was small which ensured that all of us were able to participate and receive feedback.I definitely recommend this course.

For me, the Sound of Mull had been a staple of UK diving with amazing scenery, wrecks and the history that goes along with all of this. However, it had been almost a decade since last visiting, sowhen the opportunity came to return with Purple Turtle Diving I jumped at it along with a few stalwarts from 10 years ago.The trip was live-a-board based on MV Halton with Captain Bob and his team who made us very welcome a looked after us well. (Check their web site). Plenty of room on deck with warm shared cabins below and a large communal area where everyone can sit during briefs and meal time. Both the Purple Turtle and Halton teams are all active divers, so plenty of advice on hand if needed and dive briefs from a divers perspective. It was great to return to some of the classics, with a few different sites thrown in for good measure. Purple Turtle Diving had brought together a disparate group that gelled quickly and combined with kind weather for the most part, created a relaxed few days with some great diving and evening walks ashore.Having dived with many of them, the Purple Turtle Diving team can support you at whatever level you are at. If you get the chance to join any of their trips, they are an ideal way to expand your horizons or simply revisit good times of yesteryear. Dive Safe.

I have now done two courses with Purple Turtle Diving. The first was an Emergency First Responder (First Aid) course through work and the second was a Discover Scuba course. Both courses were well run in a relaxed, friendly but professional way. The EFR course used a DVD and printed material before the actual course and lots of practical exercises on the day, including CPR with a practice dummy. The instructor who did the first aid course was also the teacher for the Discover Diving course which is reassuring. The Discover Diving course was held in a pool and once again there was professional looking literature beforehand to read giving some background. There was then a short safety talk and an introduction to the equipment. There was a good ratio of instructors to students so I felt quite safe. The equipment seemed to be of good quality and the instructor’s knowledgeable. Diving itself was a little daunting at first; it’s really is not natural to try and breath underwater but the instructors kept a good watch and made sure we were comfortable. Once we got used to it we had plenty of time to enjoy swimming underwater. This was a great experience and it has definitely left me wanting to learn more. I will be going back to Purple Turtle Diving for my next course soon.

I've dived with Toni and Blue Turtle a few times and done some courses, most recently an emergency O2 refresher. Toni is an excellent teacher - very clear and thorough. Plus she is an excellent and very safe diver. Dog and cat included in the price! Keep your eyes peeled for the purple turtle van when you are out diving...

I did my SDI solo, TDI advanced nitrox and Deco Procedures And have recently booked onto further courses with Toni at purple turtle. Toni was very helpful, friendly and professional, she took the time to find a learning style that worked for me and I always felt very safe and comfortable with her in the water. Her knowledge on all things Diving is incredible and she has a wealth of experience to go with it. I would 100% recommend doing any course with Toni as you definitely get training above and beyond the manual.
