I love this place because the staff are always friendly and willing to answer questions about their produce, even when it's very busy. Good quality meat and fantastic prices.

Less than 1 stars if I can help. Went in yesterday to buy a meal. Guy saw me in the queue but pretended like I wasn't there. Said that he was not sure who was first. Charged me 50p for 3 extra pieces of chicken. - which is the cost of a normal meal, side and drink. Chicken piece landed on the counter and he through it back in the tray! Disgusted.

Re-opened under the name Ramshaws. Selling lots of meat fresh and cooked at good prices !! Called today and bought 5 X £2.50 meat packs for £10 and a chicken and gammon pack for £5. I also noticed small cooked cold chickens at £2 and small pieces of cooked cold small pork lion for £1.50 both ideal for couples or single people!

Bought 2 pieces of rib eye steak today and it's the first time i've ever thrown steak away. Cooked it and observed that it had the strangest texture, before tasting the most blandest piece of meat ever. It bore no resemblance to a natural steak flavour whatsoever...so very confused how that happens. The meat was very pale even though i cook it to a rare standard. My partner reckons it's been frozen.

I ordered meat for the very first time. I spoke to a very friendly lady at Ramshaws who helped me. I ordered a quantity of meat , with free delivery if you spent £25. The delivery arrived and the meat looked marvellous, very fresh. I have no hesitation in recommending Ramshaws butchers, and l shall definitely be ordering again. Before finishing this review l would like to send them my best wishes during the serious situation we are all going through.

Put in the oven tonight 3 garlic marinaded chicken legs!Pierced them after 40 mins cooking and just pure blood came out!When I actually cut further 2 of the 3 pieces had what looked like blood blisters inside!I know it’s cheap but this isn’t right.

Had some pre cooked chicken a few weeks ago cut into it for Sunday dinner it was raw inside went again today for pre cooked chicken bites bbq been on toilet since I got home sort yourself out guys
