I bought a car at the start of lockdown, and couldn't be happier with the car and the service from Alex. He gave us solid advice on which model to go for and why he thought it would be better for us and I couldn't agree more. Love the car and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex and Chester road motors to anyone.

I understand why someone may call Alex's operation Arthur Daley ish" but the service we had with our S-Max was excellent. We had a problem with our storage box between the two seats which could not be fixed so Alex sourced one and sent it to us. I got a local garage to fit it. Very pleased with the car."

Bought a car from these a while ago. Told me they would fix it before I collected when a fault occurred on a test drive. Told me to get a garage to look at it and they would pay. Never did pay, Just bodged it to the point the engine was tapping and lost confidence in the car.Then refused to refund the cost of the car. Court letters prompted a partial refund. Lost out to the tune of over £500. Go elsewhere is my advice.In Response to the comment below. No recovery vehicle was sent, I paid to return the vehicle to you. I was asked to pay for diagnostics at my local garage which I was told would be been paid by yourselves, which never did. Hence being out of pocket to £500. 2 Court letters were sent due to vehicle developing a knocking noise because of low oil pressure, and a reluctance to refund on a faulty car. Bodged repair was at your garage.

Bought a car from these guys, hassle free and a great car, would recommend.

Don't touch these Arthur Daley car salesman with a barge pole , left an holding deposit , (returnable) they took 3 weeks to prep the vehicle and await new parts , I tried to sell mine as they were offering peanuts in exchange , deal fell through and they refused to return deposit , All nicey nice on phone when there selling , soon as they don't get the sale it's all swearing and aggressive , steer clear

5 STAR! Would not hesitate to recommend these guys, bought a 2011 Free lander, was by far the best one I had viewed, car was immaculate when we picked it up and the whole process was painless. Good job Chester Road motors, thanks for the GREAT CAR!!

Excellent customer service from Alex and Chester Rd. I viewed the car on Sunday afternoon along with another vehicle I was interested in. A test drive was no problem and then a sensible discussion around prices and my part exchange car.Picked the car up on the Wednesday, I could have had it sooner but this fitted in with my work schedule. The car was ready when I got there and was presented immaculately.For the service and the overall experience I would definitely go back to Chester Rd and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Bought a car 9 months ago,had trouble with brake cylinder sticking ,was told to HIT rear drum with hammer,did so and was ok,for 3days,took it to the garage I use,it was a broken cylinder.Car I bought is good ,but the garage they use is not so good,why did they not pick this up on M.O.T??
