The 2 stars are for assembly I Finally put together but it's a real pain the trick is to leave all the pan bolts loose then put the support struts on last by pushing the pan towards the bolts once they are in tighten the pan bolts, then finally the struts i had to call them as struts seemed too short but the abrupt man on the end must be tired of these calls that he instantly asked me for my email address to send me a video but unfortunately I didn't receive it i think I left a letter out when I gave it to him, I figured it out in the end

Like many other people I struggled for ages trying to work out how the hell to fit the front support struts (6) onto both the frame and the front of the pan. In the end a pair of clamps enabled me to simply bend the end at 90 degrees to 60 so it will fit the pan. It looks absolutely fine and the barrow is working well.I read elsewhere on here that the reason it comes the way it does is to make the eventual fit tighter. I am not all that practical and happy to be convinced otherwise, but this just seems unlikely. Rather this seems like really poor attention to detail and a product almost designed to irritate customers. If the way I received these struts is correct, then the instructions are absolutely terrible.

Lots of moans on here - and I think the company could make things easier via the instructions, which overall aren't great. The front pan supports APPEAR too short out of the box - but they will fit and actually help to tension up the pan, the instructions could state that. The whingeing about Torx fittings is irrelevant, if you haven't got a Torx fitting then you can get away with an appropriately sized flat blade screwdriver. Some people in this country will always find reasons to moan. Good to buy a British product of decent quality for a good price. Better instructions would help though.

I think the holes connecting the arms to the main frame (or 'nose') were drilled slightly too near the ends, which left that connection really wobbly even after fully tightened. The arms don't fit down tight into the nose frame. It still all fits together OK, and with a bit of force you can get the front supports in place OK (I noticed others have an issue with this, but in my case I could just push them into place).Once assembled the barrow looks smart. And I really like the yellow wheel, it feels tough. However, the only thing holding the assembly tight is the sheet metal of the pan, hence there is a lot of wobble side-to-side as you use the barrow. This doesn't feel right, the entire structure of the barrow wobbles under load.

Delivered with dents, rust, front wheel not mounted straight with frame, legs bent, clearly unsafe and this company boasts about hallmark of quality. Its product couldn't even withstand storage at B+Q. In fairness, I wouldn't like to build a wheelbarrow for a retail price of £46 but why bother if you can only produce an unsafe and poor quality product. Here's my email to them. If no one complains companies will continue to produce, in my opinion, substandard products. British quality ? Perhaps Trading Standards / British Standards should test to ensure this products safety ?Dear Sir or Madam,I just thought I’d send you some photos of your wheelbarrow recently delivered by B and Q.I ordered a wheelbarrow described as a builders which had complete frame ( rather than the two screwed in metal ties at the front wheel. It was painted all green. The photos below show the dreadful product that was supplied, not looking like the one I ordered. There seems to be a thought that it’s only a wheelbarrow and it will get bashed but occasionally I’m sure some buy one as a gift. Clearly B and Q could care less about preserving your Hallmark of Quality serving up this example.Rust has already set in, especially at rear left joint, the left hand frame is bent inwards and is presumably not safe. The basin is bashed and front wheel is at a strange angle.I now have to wait for the wheel barrow to be collected and a refund at some stage in the future. I cannot bring myself to order another of your products online if your retailers are prepared to deliver items in such poor and dangerous condition given the bent legs.It a very poor example of a wheelbarrow and I’m sure you can feel no pride in this product as an example of your work.B and Q say we’ll collect and refund, no apologies , they simply aren’t bothered, in my opinion we’ve lost something important in retailing when a company cannot bring themselves to say, sorry, we let you down, we let the recipient of the gift down, we shouldn’t have sent out a product in this condition and how can we make it right and make it right quickly ?They have no thought about people not being able to use the product on receipt and what the consequences of a delay might be for people’s earnings if the item lets them down.Sorry to go on but your product would appear not capable of even withstanding storage at B+Q let alone doing the work it was intended for.

Although the finished assembly looks okay I have to say that the instructions are woeful. In the end I had to phone them up for help only to be dealt with with a sneering attitude. Did you tighten the bolts as you assembled it?" Of course I did. "Well you shouldn't have

Terrible quality. Metal is paper thin and deforms easily. Barrow not assembled correctly when delivered. Required the purchase of a special tool to tighten the bolts holding the barrow together. When the company were asked to either refund the cost of the tool or to send one, they refused. They offered to send replacement bolts instead. Not sure of their logic. I still had to source a tool to tighten them with.

Agree with the comments about the support struts....they appear at least an inch short . To stretch " them into place would pull the pan out of shape.Fault could be remedied by simply making those struts longer or drilling the holes in the main frame nearer to the body of the barrow.Having to use the barrow without the struts which is not satisfactory."

Deformed wheel resulted in a deflated tyre. I contacted the Co. and asked them to replace under their “Lifetime Warranty” as printed on the rim of the wheel. I initially received a reply stating the “director will be in touch”. A month has gone by and despite 3 further emails from me, I have not heard a word. Appalling service. I’ve now bought a replacement wheel from Amazon.

My wheelbarrow kit does not fit together, holes are way out of alignment. I now see from reviews I am very much not alone in this matter. How on earth can you get away with selling a self build kit that doesn't fit together? What is your quality control doing if they are not controlling the quality?
