Mandarin

Been coming here for a few years and they never disappoint, food is always hot delivered promptly can't complain can't comment on the atmosphere as never been inside.

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered for delivery and given an expected delivery of 1 hour which I was ok with as they were busy. Phoned them after 90 minutes as order had not arrived. Was first told that order was still in the kitchen as they had no drivers available then told that it was almost here. Order eventually arrived 2 hours after placing the order. Used to order regularly from Mandarin but they have lost a customer after tonight’s debacle.

We waited nearly an hour and 45 minutes for the food, for it to turn up cold, oily, and inedible. Prawn crackers were also stale

Great food on this occasion and was truly impressed when the young man on the till offered to bring my food out to me if I'd rather sit in my vehicle, what a thoughtful gesture.

Over an hour to arrive, arrived cold, got my order wrong (absolutely hate prawns with a passion - I feel sick), and paid £7 for duck and got mostly noodles and sauce. Too late to get any other food in. Ruined my night. I will not be a returning customer.

Amazing takeaway can have slight order issues when busy but overall a great takaway. Food quality is very good and great portion size

I ordered food using the just eat app, and while it said that it was going to take like an hour to be delivered, I was really surprised when it was delivered just 20min after. The food is really tasty, and the portions are bigger compared to other places in town. Definitely ordering from this place again.

Terrible service, Picked up an order and they got it wrong, 25 minute drive home and called them to explain and they offered to drop the item off but it would be a ‘LONG’ Time,All the other food would of been cold!! Just said they would replace the 1item order was for £19.60 and they said they didn’t get the ‘Whole’ order wrong so would only refund £9, My daughter has this every Friday and is very fussy (which I explained) And she puts all the dishes together so it was the ‘MEAL’ that was ruined not one dish !! I spend £1000 a year here and the have just said ‘DONT ORDER AGAIN’ This is the 3rd time they have got the exact item ‘Wrong’ Now they are saying they will drop a full refund off with there driver, Why not just replace the food lolThe front staff don’t have a clue how to solve a very simple issue…. Told me I should remind them to ‘CHECK’ my order every time ! Gobsmacked at the incompetence and no wonder the reviews are bad !! £1000 a year lost to a £2.80 mistake that was so so simple to put right. ‘THEY MADE THE MISTAKE’ and made it sound as if it was my fault !!

I ordered the satay chicken main dish and the mandarin chicken main dish, from the Mandarin twice and was disappointed both times. The sandwich thin sliced chicken satay lacked any marinade or grilling and was placed in a watery gravy with no peanut flavour or even a peanut in sight. The mandarin chicken was just a sugar syrup on some bland battered chicken. Delivery took over 90 minutes each time, which was unacceptable.While the taste may appeal to those who don't care about authenticity and prefer a more bland flavour, the lack of care and effort put into the dish was apparent. Clearly using a stock splashed into every dish to cut on costs. Overall, I would not recommend the Mandarin for those seeking quality and authentic Asian cuisine.

Not normally one to right reviews but I’ve been a customer for years, I get my food, the order is wrong and I’m missing prawn crackers which I paid extra for, I ring up and get told I must of ordered my own food wrong and it’s my own fault, then to top it off there to busy to bring me out my prawn crackers, customer service at its finest! that’s a good customer you have just lost, awful!
