UCKG HelpCentre

I first came to this church with a lot problems which had occurred from past hurt.With the help of the Pastor's wife and the approachable Assistants in the church, I was able to overcome my traumas.The people were so welcoming and didn't judge who I was, they generally wanted to help me.Now my life has changed a whole lot, and I'm able to be an example for my own children and others around me.I love the fact that the church is open 7 days a week, and they have services specifically for different areas of your life that you need help with.They also have a 24 hr helpline service which I was able to use.Now those challenging days do not turn into depressing days because I learnt the secret of how to overcome.

The UCKG Helpcentre is indeed a pillar of the community. I went there at a point when my life wasn’t doing so well; I was addicted to substances, suffered with many internal issues including lack of self esteem, Insomnia & Anger issues. I felt worthless and was also unemployed, but the volunteers there took time out of their busy schedules to help me rebuild my life, today I’m a completely different person with a great job and attitude! I’m eternally grateful to all the practical advice, help and services I’ve received over the years. Even during the pandemic most UCKG Helpcentres remain open as their work has been deemed an essential for society (which I think is great!) I would recommend the services of the UCKG Helpcentre to absolutely everyone and anyone! Your situation may not be as bad as mine was, but no matter what you are facing or if you just want a quiet place to sit and gather your thoughts, the doors of the UCKG Helpcentres city wide will not turn you away.

This place is very helpful for people needing help on how to overcome their problems. There are advisers around everyday that are willing listen and advise on how to deal with your issues

Coming here has helped me to become a better and stronger version of myself. Have learnt how to defeat the problems that I go through using the little faith I thought I had.

The UCKG Helpcentre helped me to turn my life around and to fight for what you want, I came to the Helpcentre with employment, immigration and homelessness problems, now I don't have immigration problems, I'm no longer homeless and I am now running my own business.The UCKG Helpcentre teaches you how to reach your full potential.

Usual service is really good but I don't get the point of the youth group. It wasn't helpful in anyway at all, it felt more like a community centre and I learnt nothing.

This full-bodied, all-encompassing charity is a one stop shop, where lives like mine, have been transformed, and continues to go from strength to strength. I was frustrated, with no job, money, peace or proper guidance, and this place has helped me turn that all around. I now have a well-paid city job, in a loving relationship (on the path to marriage, something I never saw coming). Most importantly, I have peace! I sleep well at night and I don’t feel burdened. This place is for everyone, no matter your status, condition or stage in life. Not many things in this life are guaranteed, but one thing I can guarantee, is that once you walk through the doors of any centre, you will be greeted with a smile!10/10 would recommend!
