Great place for an HSB before a Pompey game. They keep the beer in great condition. Plenty of activities too.

Met with large group of friends for birthday. Lovely pint of HSB.Good atmosphere. First visit since it changed hands a few years ago. Nice to see it's still doing well

This was our first visit to watch the Morris Dancing, but we had such a lovely time. Great pub and we met some lovely locals so will definitely be back.

Three ales on offer all decently kept, still feels like a proper pub friendly staff, customers and relaxing surroundings. On the table today Gakes HSB, Fullers took on Gales but the beer is still potent. Piano in tune although after some HSB sadly my fingers were not....I hit all the right notes not necessarily in the right order or so some wise comedian once said. I like the Eagle. Worth seeking out.
